You are imagining that anyone thought your idea would create a big problem.

In fact, everyone agrees that either you SHOULD try this, or that you and your imaginary collection of cohorts don't have enough money to actually pull it off. . . but regardless please try this right away!

If you could get market prices high enough I would start building and selling things again, that would be great!

If you could make Plex cost a billion each I would definitely sell you a bunch of Plex, since you would have to keep buying them up to keep the price that high, that would be awesome!

And then other people would have all your isk, and the markets would stabilize again. 4) Profit!

You missed the part where I used a plural. Whilst referring to just my channel. CCP alone know how many hoarders there are in BTL and TDF, or even the little guy who wants to help out with his 500m, it all adds up and having a pretty solid grasp of the market, ya know, having daytraded for the past 8 years, I think you under underestimating what a reckless injection of 10 trillion ISK alone is capable of doing to prices.

The artificial ISK stabilizers were removed when shuttles stopped being seeded. And making mining carebears rich is fine by me if it means that PvPers and gankbears are buying their ships at triple prices.


I don't understand, I am pretty sure these gankbears killing the moms is part of game mechanics, not to mention suicide ganking...

I approve of this idea.

Send CCP a clear message that incursions need to be nerfed into the ground.

Though I do not doubt that you and your potential group has a lot of money, incursions are fairly new and I would say that your money counts as "new money".

As such, how much of a sustainable impact do you reckon would you be able to do against the "old money" of EVE (big alliances, long term T2 BPO owners, etc)?

Also, you have the problem of having to convince other people to share your state of mind. Big alliances on the other hand, can order their members to have their state of mind should they want to manipulate the market (cough, goons).

The ice interdiction "only" managed to push one resource's price up around three fold. This was done by a rich alliance with both financial and destructive power. They could enforce their market manipulation from both sides - financial manipulation AND interdiction of production of said resource.

Realistically you only have impact on the financial side and no power over the production side of things.

TL DR : Yes, you'll have an impact. No, it probably wont be as long lasting or as big as for example the ice interdiction.

But your spirit is what EVE is all about and your efforts will probably bring fun to you, riches and pain to others - so go for it!

After the patch we're giving the market some gentle supply restriction, like tying one wrist to the bedpost loosely with soft silk rope. Just enough to make things a bit more exciting for the market, not enough to make a safeword necessary.  -Fozzie

You worthless incursion bears disrupt the gameplay of anyone who resides in the constellation you are currently farming.

Anyway, this isn't going to happen. You'll make a few stockpile holders or market bears incredibly rich as they farm you, shortly before they dump their stocks and bankrupt you.
