When you station-spin docked you can see huge station around you which is mostly empty - why I cant see there around my currently docked ship a cascade of "parked" ships that I have in shipbay and item stacked in containers from item hangar? I want to see all my sexy Venture variants at once!

Probably mostly performance. In space, you probably do a LOT of LOD stuff, but for hangar stuff, you'd be trying to render everything at maximum model detail.
