1) Force sales tax to not be lower than NPC

2) Remove damage cap on Highsec Citadels.

Bwahahahahahahahahaha!
They are already giant Pinata's in high sec with basically zero effective defence compared to Null Citadels, and you want them to be even more nerfed?

First you might want to explain why there is a problem that requires them nerfed in highsec, rather than buffed to create greater purpose behind a corp in highsec.

  1. That defeats half the point of making Citadels competitive with Stations.

  2. Why would CCP even consider this? The entire point of the damage cap is so that you can't just throw a massive force at these things and destroy them regardless of the defending force.

I don't see CCP ever doing either of these things, nor do I consider this to be a "fix" for anything that actually needs fixing.

I wasn't aware that highsec citadels were even broken.

They seem to work quite well.

I think the off shoring is a valid concern, it will lead to isk inflation by partially nerfing the npc tax isk sink. It also makes some of the trade skills obsolete. Perhaps make taxes on all trades be according to where the goods themselves are. From how I understand it you can buy sell stuff in jita from an offshore location and pay no taxes/fees with remote trading. Trading within citadel would not be a problem because there is always they risk of losing stuff in the citadel.

By broken people mean oversaturated.
Go into a system and boom 30 cits everywhere cluttering things up.

That's how it already works and goods in citadels are not lost. They go into asset safety.

lol wut

1. <- defeats the entire point

2. <- why

in fact why to any of this give a reason. you cant give ways to fix something you haven't shown as broken

I'm not reading an explanation for why empire citidels are broken. They appear to be working as intended and if the tax avasion was out of projection CCP fozie would be tell us it's nerfed like he did with mining yields.

It's not safe out here. It's wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross. But it's not for the timid.

Asset safety still charges money for it to be used and it's a lot more than benefit of offshore trading so that will always dissuade people from actually putting their stuff in Freeports, this will pretty much ensure that citadels won't replace Npc stations as hubs. Not to mention the potential of just losing access with the citadel being destroyed.

Anyway after reading the economic report I don't think a little tax evasion is really a problem. It's a tiny blip on the radar compared to all the other factors inflating the money supply.

This. when they got rid of pos standings, every moon filled up. now with citadels only need to be 500k km from things and other deployable things its just a mess. Citadels off nothing but some tears for destroying and that's after you take a week and a half of timers.

Also I don't like how the citadel can protect -10s from faction police and concord allowing them to undock and passive align while they wait their 15 mins and have another target within arms reach, allowing new ganks with in a few mins of ending the criminal countdown where nothing can be done.

Asset safety will move your stuff to a station or citadel in the same system free of charge. Only downside is it takes 5 days.

Citadel proliferation was expected and intended. I do think CCP is missing an opportunity to soak up some of the excess ISK in Eve by not having a baseline cost to operate a structure - either a fuel block per hour to simply keep the lights on or a charter in Empire space or both.

Huh I heard there was a few, guess I heard wrong. In that case I think it's kinda messed up . The attackers should really be able to loot it like the old POS' s

I'm open to damage cap removal if it involved a limited space fuel bay (15 days of fuel). Run out of fuel at the structure goes into vulnerability with no damage cap.
