Low/null sec exploration s/b more profitable vs risk

I see low sec / null sec exploration as much riskier than in high sec, with exposure to pirate scan down and attack while running a site (i.e. hacking/analysing a mag/radar site) -- yet the drop values are nowhere high enough compared to high sec to make said risk worth while.

I spent months training a cloaky pilgrim that would get me into low/null sec, with some acceptance of risk while working the site -- but the drops, 13 mil on average, if you find a good site like radar or mag? Not worth it; I might as well just run level 4's with my corp in high sec to net the same gains.

If exploration/archeology is truly a 'profession' in eve, the rewards for doing it in low & null sec need to be orders of magnitude higher than high sec.

Im pretty frustrated obviously, at the end of all this training -- to find my chosen profession is a dead end because of imbalance in drops. If eve is truly all just about pew pew in low sec, I might bin the whole thing...just doesn't do it for me...

Sigh

low null radar/mag sites are pretty garbage
