Hello again.

I was borned Gallente. But I wanted to check some SoE missions on Amarr space for buying SoE stuff like probes, launchers, ships, so I spent 2 months on Simela. Then 2 weeks ago I returned to gallente space to be easier to get a Megatron. These 2 weeks I was alpha, so coudn't bring my Talos back to Gallente space. Last Saturday I renewed my plex so I went back to Simela and was surprized with warnings that I was enemy of the Amarr empire. I've been running a lot of security II missions for gallente corp npc that involves a lots of Amarrians ( I believe this npc might be racist). Botton line, the warns also told me that was my last trip there, but only on certain regions. I'm in a station that have a neighbor Amarr system where I do not receive that warning. Now here is the question. Will I be able to go again to Amarr space without problems? Or should I do SoE arc? I already have 5 in sec status, so I might be able to get most of the epic arcs.

If you run security missions that involve killing another empire faction, you will loose standing with that faction. It's best to decline these and only accept missions against pirates.

You can check your standings using the interactions tab on your character sheet.

Train the diplomacy skill to improve standings with factions that don't like you.

The SOE Epic Arc will give you an 8% standings boost with the faction of your choice.

Months ago I had the same problem after did a couple of low level missions. Currently, from these problems suffers most players which want to jump in some faction WF, because it's very profitable nowadays. Low standings not allow you to join to respective faction militia.

Just keep your main at good standings to all factions, which will give you easy access to all jobs in the future and use ALTs to some antagonistic purposes, because standing reparations is a really hardcore job even to EVE standards.

Read the next post for details: How many times you can fix negative faction standings?

If you take missions to shoot Amarr ships, the Amarr will hate you. That should not be surprising.

You can fix it by training the skill Diplomacy (in the Social group) and doing Amarr missions for an Amarr agent.

You can say NO to a mission per agent every 4 hours. So do missions with mercenaries and drones and pirates, and say NO to missions against Amarr, Gallente, Caldari, or Minmatar.

SoE arc will send you to Amarr space, so you have to fix your standings before taking it. Standings with Amarr, not sec status. Sec status doesn't affect it.

Sisters of EvE are slightly negative to Amarr, because of slavery. They are also slightly negative to Caldari.

Shooting faction ships quickly causes a standing loss. Shooting faction structures is MUCH worse.

I have an alt that declines ALL player faction missions, including ALL storyline missions. As a result, that alt has no player faction standing at all. However, he still has very high NPC corp standing.

There is no penalty to shoot: rogue drones, mercenaries, faction-less pirate NPCs. Shooting faction pirate NPCs isn't a problem, unless you plan to move to nulsec and work for a pirate faction agent.

Training Diplomacy is often enough for a temporary fix.

You can repeat the SoE epic arc "The Blood-Stained Stars" every 3 months, and choose which faction you want to gain a good amount of standing with, without any penalty to the other factions. This is how I keep the Gallente and Minmatar happy (I do Amarr, Caldari, and SoE missions). Beware the arc takes you into all player faction regions.

Look for the faction icon (it is clickable) when doing missions. It shows you what faction the mission is against. If there is none, or a pirate faction, you are good to go.

Storyline missions (offered after completing 16 missions of the same level for a faction) always cause a loss of standing with the opposing faction.

Ships in player faction missions drop tags used for buying items in loyalty points stores. You can also buy the tags from other players selling them on the market.

Make sure it actually was you that was listed as an "enemy of the Amarr Empire". Everyone in the system will get pop-up notifications when an enemy of the empire/state/federation/republic jumps into one of their systems.

The first time this happened, I thought I was going to get blapped by NPCs even though I had OK standings with the Federation, but received that pop-up... turns out they weren't talking about me at all.

Pretty sure is me. -5.6 standing, also noticed -5.09 in caldari, seems I'll have to start other toon since I hate low sec and pvp stuff.
One question. If I do distribution missions will raise my stand as well? My problem is that I can't take any security mission without the visit of imperial navy. So if I'm on the move seems not to be a problem.

Regular missions only give you standings with corp, you need Storyline / Important missions to raise Amarr Empire + Caldari State standings. These are offered after every 16 regular missions.

Problem is that you can find an Amarr agent that is deployed in Minmatar or Gallente space, that's not hard. But usually the Storyline/Important missions will send you to another agent, and that's probably going to be in Amarr/Caldari space.

That said, you just need to go from -5.06 to -4.99 and they'll stop shooting at you in 0.5. So TRAIN THE DIPLOMACY SKILL if you haven't already, that should give you a decent boost, enough so they stop shooting at you in 0.5 0.6 space. Then you can find agents to fix your standings.

Just follow the links posted above and you’ll find most clues.

If your standing is -5.9 than you need an emergency kit, really. Follow the PLAN. You need to be above -5.0 standings with trained Diplomacy IV to start the agent missions for hostile factions, somewhere near those stats if I’m not wrong. To bring your reputation above -5.0 you should complete COSMOS missions and SoE Epic Arcs. After this just find a hostile corporation (Ishukone, Dai Lai) in your alliance space and start doing low level missions there. Start to train Social skills.

After each 16th Security, Distribution or Mining missions you’ll get a storyline mission, which after completing will increase your reputation to corporation’s allied factions and will decrease your standings to all corporation’s hostile factions. Just keep in mind, that mission counter is connected to corporation, mission type and mission level. Also, after doing 16 Distribution missions level IV you can get a Security storyline mission level IV and vice versa! Failing the storyline mission will turn into HUGE reputation lost to corporation and its faction.

You should be able to get above -5 by just training one skill level of Diplomacy.

You can run missions for Amarr and Caldari without entering Amarr or Caldari space. You can find Amarr agents in Minmatar and Galente space.

You can find "pirate factions" that will give derived standings increases to Amarr and Caldari like Ammatar and Mordu's Legion.

You can pick up missions and have an alt run them for you.

Distribution and Mining missions work just like security missions as far as standings mechanics so those are included in my above comment about having and alt run them but with distribution you might be able to run them if you are fast enough.

You can have a friend or corpmate share standings with you when they are running missions and you don't need to be anywhere near them for that.

Of course you could find a not busy low sec system to run missions in but you've indicated that you'd rather not do that. However it is a viable option. Do level 1 missions in cheap ships and shrug off the occasional losses.

You could double down and commit to killing Amarr and Caldari NPCs and collecting tags and not worry about being able to fly in all sections of high sec.

You could move to null sec where faction standings make no difference what so ever.

Thanks for all the info. As I stated, I'm not a pvp player, so I rather not use "the plan". I've found indeed a distribution npc from amarr faction in gallente space and luckly the storyline one from same faction/corp is in the same station. Will be a boring work but I preffer this instead heading to low/null. And is already working in a very slow pace, but will fit my needs.

Back when I still lived in high sec and mostly ran missions I would run a lot of SoE missions which gave me a decent boost to Galente and Minmatar factions while barely touching my Amarr and Caldari. I would occasionally switch to Amarr or Caldari missions to counter the slight negative hits from the SoE storylines.

I also would never do any of the main 4 faction kill missions, I always turned them down.

I tried to run all 4 of the Empire faction's epic arcs everytime they would reset which I think is about every 3 months. Also you should do the SoE epic arc every time that it resets and pick the end mission which gives standing to your lowest faction's standing.

If you do it like that it's not at all difficult to stay positive with the 4 empire facitons.
