Having just completed my AML training for the year I have to comment on some red flags:
1) if you have been paying dividends since Dec'10, how come the breakdowns are only available for Aug'11 ? Where is the reference to your auditor who can verify these numbers?
2) if you allow for arbitrary withdrawls without any base holding limits, how do you prevent withdrawls from affecting your monthy profits?
3) You mention nothing about the dissolution of shares on a withdrawl. Perhaps just an oversight, but also a red flag.

We all remember Phaser Inc. :) And those who were stupid enough despite advice from people on this forum who invested in that recent ponzi scheme. If you wish to not been seen in the same light, a 3rd party audit would be the minimal thing that we would expect.

Thanks for your questions. The new post on this forum is just a link out to our old post where you can view both our dividend breakdowns, as well as confirmations of our payouts. Here is a direct answer to each question:
1. We have yet to be audited - though our shareholders have direct access to my API key if they request it. Audits from 3rd parties have been generally unavailable for quite sometime. Though I haven't directly searched one out, most of the "trusted" auditors are either too busy or quitting Eve.
2. Withdrawals are processed and they do happen. A withdrawal simply means that we perhaps have less capital with which to gain profit on - but if someone withdraws anytime before the first of the month they don't receive the dividend for that full trading month. So withdrawing 5 days after the start of the trading month means that you lose any perceived gain. Therefore they don't affect the percentage that others would gain from our efforts. Share stay at their intrinsic or buy value. They do not increase in value at this moment.
3. The shares must be returned to the fund when making a withdrawal. Most investors choose to directly send the shares to myself.

I am well aware of Phaser Inc. I was one of the first that stated that it seemed to be a Ponzi or HYIP with exorbitant promises of high returns and compounding, which is not at all feasible. Compounding is not possible with my fund, nor do I offer anything more than what can be made on the market in any given month - which means we could easily suffer a loss or have a depressed profit below expectations. Feel free to let me know if you have any further questions.

On a side note - your AML training will serve you well. I completed FINRA's Retail course to complement my Series 7.

It's been almost one year since I opened Paragon Capital in order to begin a finance arm for a little alliance that I had thrown together. That finance arm grew into the Paragon Capital Managed Trading Fund. I opened up for investors in December, and many of our investors have been with me since those early times and have seen great returns. When I came to the forum I was called a scam, idiot, and many other things, I knew that over time I would be able to prove that scamming was the furthest thing from what I wanted to do, but instead the real challenge would be to build a fund and provide profit for others. Truly, it is what has driven me over these last 11 or 12 months to push myself and trade as much as possible. I have loved every minute of it. I haven't been one of those forum guys but instead chose to just let returns and hard work prove that I wasn't a flash or a scammer. The alliance and all other activities I was involved in went away so that I could solely focus on providing excellent returns to my clients.

A lot of people have come and gone over the past 12 months. Even the elites have scammed. But I have stayed steady and true to my word that I was in it to run a trading fund. And while I thought this could go on for a longer period of time, after consultation with Asura07 and some of the other investors, I realized that the time has come to shut her down. I got some great news in July that my wife and I will be adding another member to our family. His name will be Tristan James and I’m excited to see him come along in March. I have also decided to embark on getting my Masters in Finance to add to my MBA, so that I can prepare an excellent way to get a PHD in Business. I also received a promotion at work in August. Aggressively pursuing my education, career goals, and raising my family has taken more time than I imagined. While I will of course continue to play Eve, trade privately, read the forums and perhaps at times comment on interesting posts, I will no longer run a public IPO. I am grateful for those investors who entrusted me with their hard earned isk, and I hope that my work in trying to bring you returns was to your satisfaction. I am also grateful to the community, while at times brutal and undignified; serve a great purpose in this game by making it more interesting.

The final payout will be as such. Class A Shareholders will receive a 90% liquidation distribution on the current worth of their shares. Class B Shareholders will receive a final distribution of the leftover funds following liquidation. I will have this paid out no later than 05:00 Eve time.

Final Tally:
Total Profit: 66,463,383,594.81
Total Percentage: 151.06%
Total Dividends Paid: 58,635,570,208.78
Total Paid Out: 121.84%

Again, thanks to all who have made this an amazing year.

More like no one even sent any money for you to scam because it was so painfully obvious.

I`m glad you spent a year making fake updates for your fake spaceship investment fund though. Congrats.

confirming I held 17448 Class A shares to this fund, totalling over 17B in shares. always got paid in time, always made me happy. now, after closing, even got back my investment, indeed making for a more than decent profit.
eve is a nasty place, like the post above me probably wanted to say. but I'm glad I could trust you and definately found it my isk's worth.

I guess as a, now former employee of this fund I'd like to make a statement as well. Only seems proper after all.
I've been involved in this from the very beginning, investing lots of effort and time into the project. I came to trust Gei'neille and a great friendship sprouted. By no means would i have spent nearly a year pretending to make money. Why do that when you can actually make money? The investors were real, the dividends real and anyone close to us would have known that. I don't appreciate being looked down upon immediately without investigation. I know this game is full of people that will simply take your money and not think twice about it...probably not even think in the first place. But that doesn't mean that every single thing out there is not legit.
We took a lot of crap from people, mostly on these forums, and yet despite all the negative remarks we still grew this fund, amassing a wealth i could never have imagined when i started this game. And what did we do in the end? We gave back the vast majority of the isk so we could start anew with something else.
It was fun, I enjoyed it a lot, I learned a lot, I made life-long friend, but all good things must come to an end i suppose.

rofl

rolling out the shill alts for a failed scam all within 15 minutes of each other. 1 character trading toon and 2 alts from paragon or its mother alliance

this is incredible.

md never ceases to amaze with how far people will go with altposting, even after a failure.

sorry but I am affraid I must disappoint you.
you may look up my corp, a bit too active to be an alt tbh. sorry for not being subscribed to your posts, so I only noticed you a bit late. but you are making assumptions based on poo. what you are doing is verbal docking games, as in not having first hand experience by fear of what might happen to your hard-earned isk, yet trashing in forums about how this must be a scam, since there are no honest players in eve.
I started with a 1 bil investment about half a year ago or so, when rothbard still had his IPO on the casino. I had bought rothbard's shares from Gei'neille without the use of a third party and bought an extra bil in Paragon shares at the same time. as time passed, I have invested more and more, since this happened to be the only trading fund I had encountered that actually kept to its word.
I could have been scammed many times in the process, but after today I am convinced that I have found an honorable person in eve - something I didnt deem possible for a long time.

As you have been paid back you will have no problem showing a screenshot of the 17B returned to you.

Or the OP can post a screenshot showing the 80B+ he had in his wallet and some player transfers going out.

If either of you do this , all will be believed. If not, well you know what people will think!

What you won't find in this list of investors are the Class B or common share holders. Isa Lynn, the investor in question above didn't receive a liquid isk payout, as she is the alt of Derp Durrr - who joined the fund in June and ran our manufacturing operations. Those operations have continued and instead of liquidating them we'll continue to operate as a group and focus our attention on things other than trading for a public fund. That means that Derp, Asura, Irish, and myself did not receive payouts in the form of isk, but instead in the form of various researched blueprints and other physical assets. Together we held 51B in assets in the fund.
