before i start, i know lv5 is better than lv4, BUT are there any skills required by capitals that it is fine to skill only to lv4? some of the training times are frightening!!

navigation
jdc and jfc- is 4 sufficient or will i regret not having them to 5

shield/armour/cap

repair skills, remote repair, remote cap etc

drones

light, heavy fighters, fighter hangar bay

lv4 seems to open up t2 of everything above, but i dont want to really regret not skilling something up on my map that i will really regret later


i eventually want a well skilled cap pilot (not fussed about titans yet) so mainly thinking carrier, super carrier, fax and dreads

Seconded.

Some alliances won't even allow you to be a fleet cap pilot without it. It is that vital.
