Could we put a safety into the overload function? maybe a right click safety on thing, this way people can not worry about accidently turning it on when they dont want to. it appears its a common problem with some players and should be an easy fix.

how the hell is this a common problem. unless you have some really dumb key bindings how do you even do this?

Probably using mouse and icons rather than key bindings, in which case it's easy to hit the overload segment without realizing (until all your rack burns out :D )

Maybe just tie it into safety setting i.e. green safety means no overload.

that confuses me even further most people complain that it is to hard to hit the overload with the mouse when trying.

besides if you dont even notice heat melting your crap you deserve to lose them

as to your idea do you have any idea how bad that is??? im sure there are a lot of ppl with green that would like to OH

Some people simply don't like using keyboard commands, others need to use a trackball or such for accessibility reasons. Yes it's tricky to hit the OH when you want to but does seem remarkably easier to do so when you don't want to!

My idea was just that, a simple suggestion that requires minimal coding to fix a potential accessibilty issue. You want OH? Fine, go to yellow.

This already exists.

Click the hamburger menu next to the capacitor disk -> Lock Overload State
