Exhumers in null sec?

I'm in null sec. It's Blood rats.
I was inactive for a long time and just returned. I was told that you should not bring exhumers to null as they get one shot by rats....
Is this true?
Is there one or more exhumers that can be fit to survive a few hits?
How would I fit it?

skiff is the tankier one, out of the 3 versions.
with it you can tank rats, and survive until help come, in case you get tackled.

that's if you are solo mining.
if you have a fleet with you and more precisely a rorqual fleet with you then you can eventually switch to something with less tank, aka mackinaw or hulk, if they clear rats as soon as they spawn!
i mean... to do that they have to be Not-Afk... have you ever seen a miner not afk?

Skiffs are super tanks compared to the other exhumers. The best I can get out of a Mack is 44-50k and Hulks will get up to 40k

You can get a skiff up close to 200k I think with just t2 mods if you know what the rats are shooting.

This is what I come up with for null galente space... Now in saying that that won't stop a random ship with different time of guns.

unless a blood dread or titan spawns, you shouldn't be getting one shot by any rat. Skiff is the obvious choice, but if you have a group hulk or mackinaw works too, just when the rats spawn kill the elite frigates, those are the only things that point and you can always warp out with them dead anyways. Most of the times I see an Orca and two hulks, or more frequently just 3 rorquals out in a belt.

Edit: I just realized what alliance the OP was in, please look at fittings outside of your alliance, we killed one of your mackinaws yesterday that was unrigged and was missing mid slot modules. It had an orca on grid, so I imagine it was safe from rats, but when our hookbills landed it just didn't have any buffer. Querious is reasonably active space you need to have a tank on there to survive till you can get reps or backup can arrive.
