If a super is ratting in havens in null sec, will shadows increase the ticks dramaticly?

The only dramatic thing I can imagine is a Fleet coming in hot.

Not dramatically enough to recoup the cost of losing one even once a week Lol

Seriously though, I've heard a lot of varied reports on whether or not Shadows are a worthwhile investment for Super Ratting. I personally lean on the side of "no" for more or less the reason stated above.

If you cover up the losses, do they make more money than the others
People also tell me the Shadows cannot hit rats so they are pointless and do less dmg.
Can anyone provide positive and negatives of using shadows to rat

not mutch use for them at any point the are costly its special attack is suicide that does alot of dmg to larger ships capitals and up

but nothing good at them what other heavy fighters can do
