You know, you can't help but to feel nostalgic looking at the old eve login screens before it just became an app. Back in the day, you pretty much knew what expansion it is just by looking at the beautifully designed login screen. It always had a unique eve wallpaper with a unique expansion logo that said "dominion" or "tyrannis", but today you have to go to the patchnotes to even know what expansion we're in. Eve has lost that expansion charm about it that helps players understand CCP's focus of the expansion. Am I the only one that thinks CCP should bring back the old windowed login screens?

You might be.

Though re-enabling logging in via exefile.exe would be a step in the right direction.

I don't want to be advertised to. I just want to start EVE.

I liked the 3D background that invited you into the game from first seconds. It was very nice to watch, a lot more than just a 2D backgroud that is not even changed thru expansions now.

Just let me play without the buggy launcher in the way.

I can't say if the old log in screens were better artistically do to nostalgia but i can damn well say they were better functionally

Surely there is a way to emulate whatever command the launcher is sending?

As someone with multiple accounts i prefer the launcher i can just open it and hit a few arrows and just get logged in, no typing super long passwords in for each account manually :P

Assuming it loads and lets you log In at all

Either way nor really adding to get rid of the launcher just not force us to use it
