AT XV Feeder Round Schedule

Hello Pilots

Here is the schedule for the Feeder Rounds in AT XV. A few notes:
  • The T positions are based on the order in which the remaining teams in round 3 played their matches in round 2 (after removing the two teams that were awarded byes)
  • The B positions are the two teams awarded byes in the previous round, in order of their average points difference
  • Teams need to create an alliance on Thunderdome named after their alliance on Tranquillity. If you have not done so by June 9, then your team will not be able to compete.
  • All pilot characters used in these matches must be members of the alliance representing your alliance on Thunderdome, and their character names must match their characters in the alliance on Tranquillity on the same account.
  • Tournament Tool access and the cloak slash command will be suspended for all teams from 11:00 on both days, and will resume at approximately 21:00.
  • The server will be rebooting on both days at 11:00 and at 21:00 (or after the final match has been resolved).
  • As the rounds are taking place on Thunderdome, you are permitted (and encouraged) use max our your character's skills.

CCP Logibro, these two are both in Gallente Militia. Are you all going to make these fights not affect their standing to the Gallente Federation when they aggress each other?

The feeder rounds are held on Thunderdome... firstly you create a whole new character corp on it. Secondly, any gameplay on the test server has no lasting effect on anything on TQ - sstandings or otherwise.

I personally think its an awesome matchup to see two Gallente Militia groups going heads up and wait to see who prevails for the bragging rights.!

I created the corporation with alliance name and ticker. Now I can't create alliance with the same name.
Can we use corporation instead of alliance?

Create an alliance with another name and have a captain send me an email and I'll swap the corp and alliance names around.

Are the T matches the winners or losers of their respective earlier matches? I'm assuming winners. But the schedule does not specify.

Winners.

You play your match on Saturday. If you win that you're in the AT and can get some beers in for a lazy Sunday/

If you lose on Saturday you go into Single Elimination on Sunday. The L matches play. Then the T and B.

T teams are winners (they are the remaining teams, teams that lose in the second round are eliminated)

Essentially, we play the remaining 14 teams against each other in the order that they played matches earlier that day. We just can't allocated them directly from their matches as we don't know where the two bye teams will be coming from.

Bah, seems I messed up the numbers when I renumbered the matches at one point. I've changed it now, it should make more sense.

Can you do an alternating schedule so that Arena 1 and 2 matches are 15 minutes apart?

I think the feeder round was a resounding success. Weeds out those that aren't going to show, which makes for a better tournament overall.

Absolutely superb entertainment.

Seemed like a really good joint effort between CCP and Eve_NT to give us a show. I remember the stream passing 1100 at one stage, what did it peak at?
