Major issue. corrupted Eve file in shared cache

About 3 days ago my Eve client became very buggy and then stared showing a message about an issue with the shared cache.
Ive tried everything but now resorted to uninstalling the game yet the shared cache is persisting and it is locked to read only. and when I try to delete it or reset the lock all I get is a error code and the computer throwing up a message saying its unable to as a file is corrupted.

How can i get rid of this corrupted file, the shared cache and reinstall the client?

You can install the launcher again, Start the launcher. Click on settings on the left side. Click on shared cache settings. Click on permissions button. Allow the black window that will appear to close on itself, it might take a few minutes depending on your computers speed. Then open shared cache folder and try deleting it again.

If that does not work then you will have to take ownership of the file using you administrator account. If you do not know how to do that then I suggest you file a ticket.
