Correct, this just adds to the pile. What got me started was the citadel incident.

VMG was hired by alliance A to defend a citadel against alliance B

alliance B then hired VMG to attack the citadel (conflict of interest)

VMG told alliance A to change its vulnerability timer so they could defend it

VMG killed citadel backstabbing alliance A

I can't speak on that as I have no idea about it. It must have been before I joined. Honestly though..that is kinda the definition or mercenary..fight for the highest bidder.

If I had a nickel for every time someone said women don't play eve, I'd have a bag of nickels to whack the next person who said it..

How about NO. Maybe this is how VMG works, but not Marmites for example. The client that hires us first, is the contract we will honour. We will never **** our client, by backstabbing them or telling the target who hired us. Even clients of marmite, who get war decced by us, respect the fact I will not give them any info or take their counter job. This is the way to show people you respect contracts.

Long term client relations aren't based on isks, but on trust, loyalty and respect. How do you think we still have so many clients, that keep coming back to us, even when VMG threatens them to not do so ?

I recall deadly fingertips getting booted from the merc contract channel because somebody in DF allegedly scammed a client (although I still sense this was mainly because khrom was throwing a tantrum because I smack talked him yonks ago).

So who kicks VMG from the merc contract channel when they scam? Blink Otherwise, I'm sensing some double standards. P

False, Mercs who change sides mid-contract are not mercs, they are scammers.

Also False, if PL fought for the highest bidder everytime then Nullsec would look very different. Many variables should be considered when accepting a contract. It is your word on the line.

You mistake my comment for justification..it is not..rather, a definition of the word. Perhaps the label "mercs" should be changed if the definition doesn't fit.
