Hello

I have an in game grievance that I would like resolved. And I feel the best resolution is for a certain person to go up in flames.

It is a simple contract, Kill a high sec mission runner in their favourite ship.

I wouldn't say, "doing something right" would be the correct phrase.


Seeing as VMG is the current laughing stock of C&P right now. And I doubt Vipsan is boosting his like count.


Hating on VMG is very like worthy. It doesn't take a detective to see how many likes people get with any amount shade thrown at VMG gets. Which reinforces my previous statement.
Also I would be careful about VMG, they are not the most honest bunch

Sadly, what a bunch of forum warriors think matters little. What actions they take in game matters most..none of which I have seen any of from some of the most obvious of haters. It's easy for one to run their mouth from behind an alt or a keyboard..it's another to do something about it. I give some credit for actually doing something. Most, however, are all bark and no bite. C&P has become the forum of whiners and dissidents. I thought we shunned those types here..

Remember Valkin, I stood at the forefront of a coalition against VMG at one time..I moved on, dropped the petty grudges, and decided to see for myself what the fuss was about. I assure you, things are not what they seem. You have every right to your opinions. I respect you enough not to judge you based on them...and certainly not attack you in rl over it. It's too bad others can't share the same courtesy. You have seen only a fraction of the true vitriol of the haters..it goes much deeper than what many are willing to post here in lieu of the ban-hammer. We have a mutual friend who has taken it to a level far beyond a game..to name just one. I don't hate any of the players I shoot at. I shoot at Marmite..but I don't hate them..in fact, I like Tora. It's a game..and some people can't seem to make that distinction. You don't have to like the way some entities choose to do what they do..but you should respect it as it is a choice like any other in the game. It's what Eve's all about. Sure, choices have consequences, but petty hate is just....petty. ♥

I'm guessing you're not aware of Vip's colorful collection of alts that post here he so "cleverly" tries to give different personas. It's cute really. When one comments, they all get a fresh like..convenient.

I'm only talking about my own likes that I've gotten from it all. If he's boosting himself then whatever, however given the context of his post I'd doubt that this one is boosted, or at least partially legit.


If anybody is taking this out of game, you need to report them. I don't care how much of a friend this person is or which mutual one it is. If you are being harassed/threatened and you can not block this person by any reasonable means. Report them. You mentioned this twice now. If this is a problem you need to deal with it. If you don't think it's not that big of an issue then don't mention it.




Regardless, I don't see the whiners you talk about it. This banter here, is the same I see ingame if a bit more...colourful. The forums are more civilized than Local chats hilariously enough, and it doesn't have the harsher bias of Reddit. If you really want to see people whine about Wardec's watch any reddit thread about one.

The people ragging on VMG are, mainly those who are seeing the outcome of VMG's past choices makes them really easy to hate on. VMG wants to be the forefront of the merc world then they better get used to it. Every criticism I see thrown at VMG and it's main body of people is legit and should be seen by anyone. It's not helping that people like Yao are completely ruining VMG's rep is a business like Mercenary group, he has done more damage than anybody else has honestly.

If you want the spotlight you got to deal with the stars and the stares.

Banter in game..I don't mind..it adds spice and that touch of fun that makes it interesting..here though..it shows lack of character when there's no possible recourse to what someone says..at least in game, there is possible recourse..which makes it fun. I am not above a little in game banter and trolling..you should know that Blink

I would disagree with little consequences with the forums. I've seen a ton of crap get piled on people for expressing themselves in such a way would warrant a good ***** slap, which were given multiple times.


Banter and the interaction between players in EVE is wonderful. It's probably one of the best parts about the game. I just wish I could be more active in it all. I have two (One and a half really) jobs now, and my computer is outdated. AND you would think that have one and 1/2 jobs would mean I can afford a better computer right?

No the other job is a band, and I literally spent 30 dollars on a pack of strings and made 20$ on my last show, not considering adverts and so forth. Twas a load of shite. Was fun though Lol
