Is anyone else having problems loading blueprints into the slot, I have tried dragging them from the item hanger to the slot, also right clicking them and selecting "Use Blueprint" and the mouse wheel spins and nothing then I wait 5 mins and it finally drags in after like 20 tries.

That's not really unusual. There are slow days and there are fast days. It seems that the BP part of industry is pretty sensitive to your ping.

Just wait a half hour and it'll probably be fine. Unless you are on cable and it's the high usage time of the day.

If you select the blueprint from the lower pane of the industry tool it loads quickly but it can take a while for the tool itself to launch - also sensitive to the number of blueprints you have. I tend to load it as soon as I log in and minimize rather than close if I don't need it.

This is true. It is very sensitive if you have a large amount. It happens to me occasionally where it takes a min or two to get in the box. I have over 1,000 unique BPO's - needless to say that it also takes a minor two to load up in the industry window list when selecting "Owned by Me", but yea, lag does happen unfortunately.

If you have a lot of them try keeping them in a container and drag only the one you intend to use in your item hangar. Maybe it will fix the delay. Otherwise might be the amount of materials required for industry causing the delay and the game attempting to calculate their purchasing value or trying to localise them in your inventory that causes the slow down. Again, if you have a large amount of stuff stored, it might be helpful to have another container with build materials to speed up the process.
