The numbers and faction standings

World's in EVE are not very interactive, PI is about the only thing we do doo with them, my proposal more interactions that effect faction standings maybe, or even profits.

This new proposal would give another career choice to add, NPC planets exists with phantom populations on them, in the EVE story sansha would invade a space and take civilian populations as new slaves, if these populations exists they sure don't eat, or need anything from capsuleers, this needs to change.

-populations should have needs

-commerce should happen between capsuleers and NPC populations

Obviously populations are greater on temperate climate worlds and on worlds with harsher environments needs will be different and populations smaller, what this does is give opportunity for greater profits/needs on habitable worlds making space with temperate climates more desirable same as certain moons being more desirable than others.

Imports would be;

-foods (long limb roes, wines, waters), basically trade items, to add could be asteroid products (because hey we capsuleers are the space folk), etc.

What we get back, standings, PI materials, ISK.

Anyway I could carry on but I want to hear from others how this could be a thing, or add something to it, let's have a reason to desire systems to be in and compete for.

Hauling NPC trade goods used to be a thing. You could make a few ISK buying from one NPC corp and selling to another. You could also shoot NPC convoys carrying trade goods. Problem is, you could make more ISK doing just about anything else. Player markets are now so big that it really doesn't make much sense for CCP to invest in NPC markets.

That said, I would like CCP to take another look at teams. Player recruited, player trained teams (or crews) that work for individual players (or corporations) granting a small bonus for whatever activity they are trained in. Tradable through contracts with a normal chance to drop as loot if the ship or structure they are working in is destroyed.

I believe NPC convoys may be coming back, the other day as I undocked from a station an NPC (badger), undocked too, but only that single one was all I seen, yes player markets are strong but with a few tweeks an NPC TRADE goods market could be established and make it viable for newer player to start there and make profits thru trade and veterans with larger ships more profits on these runs.
