EVE Launcher is now blocking non-steam logins

"We were unable to log you in with your Steam account. If you have just purchased the game through Steam, please try again in a few minutes. If you added the game as a non-Steam game, please launch the game directly instead of launching it through Steam."

This is technically a duplicate however as the response from ISD Max Trix was

"The issue you describe sounds like a local issue to your account. CCP has not blocked Steam Logins. Such a thing would have been widely announced. (and as I work with the STEAM community page I would have been informed) I suggest reopening your ticket or filing a new one. Be clear and out line everything you did. (Include Screenshots if possible.)"

Followed by immediately locking the thread I thought it pertinent to post this to point out that it is definitely not isolated to Oli Picard's account

Seems if you "forget all accounts" the error goes away.

I have never had a steamlinked account however.
