How long does it take to release implants?

As usual I'm pretty disappointed in CCP. All this focus on player owned stations that in the grand scheme of things only serve to remove more content from the game (oh now we can have SO much fun shooting a static structure AND nothing drops?). Then splitting plex up to try to pry more money from our hands.

The real questions is, where are my shield implants? How in the hell does it take this long to put implants in the game? If CCP were really worth their salt they'd be releasing a new set of implants AND a new class of ship every 3 months. Instead they want to do the easy stuff. Reskin the scanning window and make it lag like crazy. Add skins to the game to make money. Where's the content CCP? We pay you to release CONTENT not microtransactions and more bugs that will take you years to fix.

Fix existing bugs, release content that drives player interaction, anything else is a diversion to make us feel like you're actually doing something.

You're not complaining about a lack of new content, you're complaining about a lack of the specific new content you want.

Git gud. EHP comes from fitting skill and SP, not ISK.

I'm complaining about the lack of content. However I am especially unimpressed by how difficult it seems to be to release implants.

Maybe this ugly deformed soul is talking about the faction implants like the snakes that are getting added.

To OP, the more toys you have the less fun you will have. Go play something else if you want a constant stream of new crap.

Fanfest already told you that the implants were slated for the summer release, along with the rebranding of multiple items and releasing of new items, might not be to your timeframe but thankfully CCP isn't owned by you :P

OP your expectations are hilariously off base. Trying to force out a new class of ship or a new type of implant every three months is a recipe for a game design disaster. There's barely room in the meta for the ships we've got, let alone entirely new classes of the things. Stuff like the Faction Capitals are niche use for a reason, because that minimizes their impact.

Implants have the same problem, you either end up with power creep or worthless additions.

In either case we don't need a massive push for either of these.

Just because the stuff CCP are working on isn't exactly the stuff *you* want doesn't mean they're doing nothing, or that the content being released isn't desirable to other players. Personally I'm quite happy with what CCP are doing right now, especially Citadels. They're far more useful and better content generators than POSes ever were and have far fewer issues with their code and base concept.

"As usual" you are dissappointed in CCP? Then why play this game and whine like a phony little ***** about a few implants?

Go to a place where you dont get dissappointed and that meets your standards.

CCP have gone full micropay.

Just look what you have in Valkyrie, other game by CCP:

Gold Packs

These War Chests provide you with stockpiles of Gold. Convert Gold to Silver (in-game currency) to customize your experience with ship decals, paint jobs and cockpit interiors. Silver can also be spent on a range of implants that provide a short-term boost to the XP you earn from every battle.

Freakin' GOLD and SILVER!
Not even Aurum, or ISK.

Obviously If its not destined to appear in the store, it can wait...

As much as I'd like to see shield slaves released today, I think they need to more informed about the actual meta of the game. Imo, the lack of a passive omni shield resist is the reason why shield suffers to armor. And the active hardener's reliance on capacitor usage. I don't really think the fix is just an addition to raw ehp at the expense of regeneration... just the addition of a few modules and perhaps a re-balance. Just my thoughts on the matter..

Saying this is the digital equivalent to pissing into the wind. I know, I've been saying it for 10 years , damn windpiss. Cool

People just love to complain, it don't mean nothin really even if it is annoying.
