Does anyone know when the new Caldari industrial ship models will be in the game?

No idea but looking at that, seems caldari is the the bland metal bricks of eve...

Caldari ships named after elegant soaring animals but look like flying metal bricks (mostly). So far only the new Cormorant and Cerberus designs have buckled the flying space junk trend.

What did they do to the Osprey? It's like a baby caracal now.

Post with your NPC alt main and not your main main alt!

I like the new Osprey/Basilisk. But to be fair anything is an improvement over the current model. Thanks for sharing. :)

looks like they were still at a concept art stage, so I'm guessing it will take a while to get them in game. they also look kinda awful, but what do I know?

What's that with Sin and Ishtar? Do they get a distinguished hull of their T1 base, instead of exactly the same? Shocked

When you don't know the difference between there, their, and they're, you come across as being so uneducated that your viewpoint can be safely dismissed. The literate is unlikely to learn much from the illiterate.

We have seen concept arts of a ships that were not redesigned to this day, and they were shown many, many years ago and there is no information about them ever being in process of active redesign in 3D.

So dont expect anything.

It's funny how the Badger and the Tayra seem to have their names mixed up in those pictures. CCPls, the Tayra is supposed to be the larger one.

That's nothing. It was the premier mining cruiser when I started playing EvE in 2009.

That or the Vexor: mining w/ lasers and you could simultaneously mine with mining drone. It could defend itself with additional drones, had a good tank, and enough low slots to add cargo hold expander. Ahh, but the Osprey was similarly good for this too.

That new Rupture looks even more like a pistol than before.

The old ships were better! CCPls run a old-school ship model day sometime, possibly on one of the eve anniversaries.

This post brought to you by CCP's alpha forum alt initiative. Playing the eve forums has never come cheaper.

This is ridiculous.

They looked a little strange but at least somewhat interesting. The new models are just bricks in space. And the Rupture still reminds me of Tooltime.

like new caldari looks and transition in size and shape of industrials basi included current one is bad.

vexor never did it for me so whatever...it does look updated

rupture could use more radical change it is playing old cards too closely i would switch center of mass a bit more forward or all the way back made it slimmer(mostly center of ship) but brake some size norms(a bit) for a cruiser so it look more thin like minmatar vessel should but gain in size to avoid looking sick / under powered at the same time if that make sense

similar thing with a sin you are doing redo...so do it.... slightly changed sim is welcomed sure but ehh...boring.

You choke behind a smile a fake behind the fear

Considering that cargo containers are cuboids, I think that ship looking like that would be very practical when filled with cuboids.

In lore Caldari are very practical, and looks matter less than utilitarian design. So it fits.

Imo, the only industrial model that really needs to be changed is the itty V. It looks like a dirty rubber duck with it's head stuck in a mile long pipe.

The length of the thing is absurd. It's about the only ship model I don't like. Yes, I even like the osprey because ugly can be cool imo....which leads me to my next point.

Yes, as stated above, Caldari ships have looked like flying space junk. ( well, except for the sad new iteration of the Moa. (Farewell baby brontosaurus with a briefcase. Farewell) But, but.... that's their culture you're disrespecting man. That's what they like to make: flying space junk. Stop being EvEracist. Mmkay?

Nope, Caldari was never junk in lore. High tech, efficient, not fancy, not junk.

Looks:
Amarr: Efficient + fancy (Khopesh)
Minmatar: Efficient + junk (Baseball bat with nails)
Caldari: Efficient + high tech (Katana)
Gallente: Fancy + high tech (Rapier)
