Once upon a time, EVE had this big plans and awesome features to look forward. I'm not just talking about WiS. I'm talking about its vision "one universe", "the ultimate sci-fi simulator".

Don't take me wrong, I like the game and I like the new features that lead to conflict and whatnot... but I for one miss the hype and the boldness that in the older days EVE's upcoming features had.

Have you seen any of their cinematics lately? I get a boner when I watch their stuff. The one scene with the Widow fighting the frigates gives me shivers every time I see it.

Apart from putting it in adspace for the superbowl, I'm not sure that they can hype it up more.

PVP gun bunnies happened.

If it's not a way to shoot someone else, they riot.

People used to come here for the world. Then they got shot, the Dev's laughed, and those people left after a few years of only PvP development. The little bit of game here is drowned out by all the hassle.

Now people come here because things that would be considered griefing in any other game are normal here.

I do agree that eve pendulum is stuck on one side there is no equilibrium point anymore or free swing just focused one mode going on

i don't think it is helping game i thing it is rather killing it but than again who knows... what i can talk on is that i remember a lot more diverse ppl opinion wise being in game and in ccp staff before and that before seen this game with better numbers online and felt more alive and extremely less toxic than what i see nova days.

could be just my rose colored glasses though or i might be correct but it cant be applied as such to whole game all i know is that i would like to see log in numbers go up...i had hope that other games would step in so i can transfer my accounts(read money) there and maybe keep mina in eve,but if that doesn't happen il just stop paying altogether.

i just need to convince my self that grinding isk for plex is a good thing to keep mina alive...knowing my self it wont work.
