[Guide] SALVAGING SANSHA INCURSION WRECKS FOR AN ALPHA PILOT

Probably most of new players wonder what can be a good way to earn some starting in game cash, while studying the game and learning to play it as a fresh alpha clone pilot. And preferably without too high requirements for skills as well as investments (which obviously a new player can't afford). Therefore I'll explain in this guide how to salvage wrecks of Sansha Incursion ships that are usually left over by the fleets that are farming Sansha Incursions. You actually can follow this guide as soon as you log into the game with fresh new character.

And the best thing about it all is that you can start doing right away with fresh character, continue it while training skills for any career you are planing for yourself in future, and if you don't like it after all you can stop it any time without loosing anything

How much will it earn you? Not that much to attract experienced players who have other sources of income, but a fresh new player without any skills and initial funds should be glad about that opportunity - all in all it depends on how well this guide will be put into use and how skilled is the person (and I don't speak about in game skills this time), but it can be 10-20 million of ISK per hour or even more if one gets lucky. So the NewBro hopefully get quite a decent start at this.

So, here it comes:

To expand on this subject, I will say with surety that you can also make around 50 mil an hour in a T1 Destroyer with T1 Salvagers and pretty much no skill investment salvaging wrecks from null sec rats. And once you get enough money to go omega you can make 100+ mil an hour in a Noctis doing the same thing.

Now I know you're saying "But Casey, nullsec is for l33t PVPers and I am a lowly noob, how can I ever hope to go to nullsec?"

Quite easily actually. Many of the great nullsec alliances have a new player branch, such as Pandemic Horde or Karma Fleet, get an application accepted, dock up in high sec, and then set home station to that nullsec region and self destruct to spawn right in the middle of nullsec. Most of these new player corps will give you all you need for free, including starter salvaging ships.

Hope this helped Big smile

I agree with CaseyLP, that there is no such thing as a "too new" or "too low" character to go out into nullsec. As soon as you are eager to try it, you are able to do that in this game. And I'll say even more - if the person doesn't get to the nullsec during the first month of his time in game, the chances that he'll ever go there will get drastically low and lower with each day as there will always be "one more skill to train", "several more million to earn" and so on. Eventually it gets so warm and cozy up in Hicec, that moving to the cold and unwelcoming deep space seems more and more distant. So if you want to try the life out in nullsec, don't hesitate and do as CaseyLP told you to do.

But it is obvious, that people are coming into this game for various reasons. And certainly not everyone of them will go to null... some will never get there in their lifetime... and some will get there only sometimes out of curiosity. But no mater where they'll be led by their game adventures, the'll need some ISK.

And that's what the guide I posted is good for - to earn some starting ISK. No matter what you plan in the future and how long it will take for you to choose direction, you can earn some money using this guide while you are making your decisions.

I am sure, that you won't be following this guide for long - most probably it will be few hours to few days... generally until you'll find better and more profitable source of income... get into corporation which will offer better options... or until you'll reach your starter goal in ISK equivalent (price of desired ship, PLEX and so on...). But as you are on your way there, this guide will help you start your adventures, earn some ISK, and even see some new things out in the universe of EvE.

Don't fly safe (it's dull Blink ) - have fun and get exited! P

I'll third the large null sec group idea. There is no easier way to get into what ever kind of content you want to do than joining the 10,000 other people in a given coalition. You can find a renter corp to join if you primarily want to PvE- but you will always be welcome to join any PvP fleet that is flying. They will hand out Alpha friendly ships free of charge. Die as often as you like, it will cost you NOTHING.

There will be a ton of ratters that will happily hand over their wrecks and loot to you. Only a few of the guys in my alliance salvaged, so there was always hundreds of wrecks in any given system. You can be a rig building GOD if you really want to be. You'll probably also get tons of loot to melt down, so by all means get to making stuff too. I always need ammo, webs, cap boosters, etc.

(in other words, you are always valuable to an alliance, even as an alpha, and there is absolutely no reason to remain in high sec)

Don't even need salvagers, look for a carrier pilot or pilots who don't care about the loot and drop mtu's around.
