Hey guys, i need help!
Eve launcher produces dmp file and denies to load at all after yesterdays new Windows 10 new major upgrade patch.

No way to debug this error from client side and this means no more EVE unless i willingly kill my windows upgrade and downgrade just for EVE.

Anyone has any ideas how to fix this?

WINDOWS 10

P.S. Tried these steps:
1. Complete removal of game, downloading the latest [EveLauncher-1104888.exe] and installing. Result: Failed to load and producing DMP file in the directory
2. Copied working game and launcher files from another computer running previous version of Windows 10. Result: Failed to load and producing DMP file in the launcher dir.

P.S2 I can now confirm, v1703 (Creators Update) will kill your existing EVE install and Launcher.
Current Launcher and game exe's are not compatible with it.

UPGRADE WINDOWS to 1703 On your own discretion!

Just to let you know, the only way to fix this if you already upgraded to Creators, is to roll back your system if you want to play EVE. I just did.

Still same on todays 16176 Insiders update. Eve fails to launch

Any workarounds apart from reinstalling old image?

Please file a bug report, attaching the launcher log files and the dmp file.

I have been using the CU since Friday the 14th and everything works just fine.

I have Pro, which version do you have?

It was broken, but now it fixed after download some files!

I cannot send a text file because "Save as.." and "Export as text..." was not working (nothing happens on click) too before patch (now in works), so here is screenshot:

New Windows update (Windows 10 Insider Preview 16184.1001 (rs_prerelease)) came on and the issue came back! EVE client don't start.

Error log the same as on screenshot in my previous post, only PID is different.

Save as and export is broken too!

Some players have been reporting that reinstalling the Graphic driver after the Microsoft update resolves the issue.

Hi guys,

Have been having strange issue RE: dual monitor set ups, have looked through forums and google and tried a tonne of different things

- Uninstalled graphics drivers and reinstall
- Disabled DVR setting and all game recording settings for win 10
- Setting voice off on client
- Tried using newprofile on launcher

Basically no effect from any of the above, If you can find it on the net I have tried it, nothing but I did manage to get it working in windowed mode using dx9 and today I came across something else, my bandicam software will not record Eve, So I relooked into the problem and tried a few fixes and have noticed something.

It is the HDMI to HDMI port on my RX 480 that doesn't seem to work properly with Eve, While using a single monitor on the HDMI port Eve will not load yet i can play with dual monitors in window mode and it works fine?

Any suggestions?

Also, can not get bandicam to work at all with eve :(
