Who should or shouldn't the InterBus system, Ourapheh, belong to? It is in the heart of the CONCORD Assembly and somewhat of a diplomatic and informational central point. Celestial Eternity had a Citadel there but it was destroyed by what I understand to be Amarrians vying to own the system. I'm fine with that but it's a very important system and is a political issue. Please provide your insights if you understand the nature of the matter.

Is this a trick question?

It's an InterBus system?

Gotta say, I'm with Elsebeth on this one. It's a high-security Interbus system. Interbus owns it. Interbus is going to keep owning it. Nobody blew up your citadel to try to own the system. They blew up your citadel because it was an Astrahus in high-security space owned by a corporation with 1 pilot in it, and that pilot has a record of losing haulers.

So they declared war on you just to blow it up. For fun.

I'd be shocked if there's more to it than that.

The Amarr and PL seem to disagree based on the renters fee they are charging.

Here is a portion of the mail sent to me.

Hello, allow me to introduce my corp ((corp name)). We are a pvp corp within the well known pvp alliance Pandemic Legion . Currently my role in ((corp name)) is as a senior collections officer for Gallente high sec. This means I'm tasked with the endearing job of sending out mails to structure owners within our range of influence. Whilst we very much are mostly interested in null sec pvp, we have the capability through wormholes and jump clones to influence high sec, in particular major trade hubs and their surrounding systems. We also have a healthy network of current tenants that choose to assist our enforcement of rates be it war defences for tenants or the reinforcing of structures owned by non complying corporations. Through experience and feedback from tenants we've developed two options for payment:

1. 450mil/ Month for single non-trade hub placed structures, 1.5b/month for single trade hub placed structures.

2. 300mil/ Month for non-trade hub placed structures (Minimum 3), 1.2b/month for trade hub placed structures (Minimum 2)

... it goes on from there.

And this impacts Interbus how exactly? They have no reason to give two tugs of a dead slaver's pecker about what you or Pandemic Legion does in the system as long as you don't start crap with Interbus.

It impacts InterBus because PL are disrupting proper trade within the system which is supposed to be a neutral system which is run by the organization which contains the most comprehensive star map information in all of New Eden.

Oh cutie, no. Capsuleers littering their lawns with citadels does not impact their trade, dearie. Interbus does their trade from their own vastly superior structures and assets.

No, it doesn't. Pandemic Legion isn't even disrupting you. They're making their serfs do it. And that doesn't affect Interbus one little bit. Interbus still collects their taxes from pirate-hunting in the system, and still controls who can and can't bring restricted assets (like capital ships) into the system (hint: it's not capsuleers, but I betcha Interbus can if they want!), and otherwise... they don't care. They don't need to care. You getting blown up doesn't cost them any revenue, and as we've seen with the Quafe convoy situation, ultimately, that's all the Empires, CONCORD, and their entire high-security framework really cares about.

The Citadel we had setup there scanned the information on every ship that passed through the system because we had an agreement and technology that InterBus provided us for the system. There are no stations in the system and the only proper infrastructure there is what other neutral organizations setup there. That is no longer possible without our Citadel there and this information is now being gained by PL. I will simply setup a Citadel with an agreement elsewhere, that's fine. But I really liked my agreement with InterBus because they are neutral which allowed us to scan any ship not just certain factions.

No name new kid gets exclusive access to Interbus tech not available to other capsuleers. The same guy who also has "serious" ties to Blood Raiders and goons.

That's adorable.

You don't have to be famous to get access to things in New Eden. In fact, most people who have the most access to things are in the shadows unknown by all. I simply came out of hiding to see what I could achieve. If no organizations show any interest then I will simply go back to the shadows.

Yeah, that line might work better somewhere where outlandish unsubstantiated claims aren't routinely scoffed at and ignored.

I'd like to bet you girls are SOE toting pacifists. Unfortunately SOE is not really powerful out in the Galaxy. Sure they have a few isolated planets here and there where they hold great influence. Unfortunately planets of theirs which are claimed by the Gallente Federation are quickly transformed to proper running governments. You girls can go back to Thera where you belong.

Ok, now that I've read that statement half a dozen times, I think I can safely say...

Shocked

Kador's Balls, I don't think I've ever seen an aspiring 'information broker' reveal his blatant incompetence on so grand a scale.

And in public! I'm in Heaven!

Don't bother with Heaven. Join me in Alenia (Verge Vendor region). It's a great system. Plenty of transforming government left to be done, but it's well enough. I turtle up in the Jacus Roden station there. And I assure you 100% it's Gallente Federation owned, operated, funded, and the government is completely controlled by the Gallente. Hell, if you're lucky enough maybe Jacus will visit you in station!
