This would be an awesome feature, just a tiny little addition to create more immersion in the game.

Also, how would it be that hard? If modders in Fallout 4 and Skyrim can do it over night then surely CCP could? :D I have faith in you guys and gals.

CCP have not updated this for ages...

The selection of clothes, hair, accessories is very weak and needs a complete overhaul...

Sims is still the best out there in Avatar Customisation, but i can't see anything changing for a long time, its a shame really

They don't want trans characters. Eve is supposed to be gritty and realistic.

But there are major issues with the current sculpting, pose system, lighting system, and I would support more unique clothing tied to race and more features for jewelry, tattoos, hair, beards, scars. Eyebrows etc. And affordable non overpriced accessories to wear, personally I'd like a pipe.
I don't see why more makeup or in the case of men "warpaint" couldn't be added. But I really don't need eye liner, just a physical beard and not painted on white lines that aren't arent affected by ambient light in portraits like hair is.

Seriously? Have you seen some of the sexually ambiguous portraits people have created with the character creator?

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

"Realistic" is what you call it when we can choose any clothes, tattoos, or makeup (or none of the above) and any pose we like, because... sandbox and choices and player-driven. If we wanted to get *really* sandboxy with the character creator, we'd be able to make our own clothes and hairstyles because, again, sandbox and choices and player-driven.

The playerbase being what it is, that would mean a lot of boob and groin shots because immature people are immature. But, like everywhere else you let people run completely wild with that kind of freedom, you'd get some seriously awesome things, because some people aren't immature.
Some. Sigh.

And... before you say the character creator doesn't have consequences, I'll just say I've had people throw ISK at this toon partly because they liked the way she looked. Not a lot, but not zero either.

Realistic?

Are you saying trans people are imaginary?

I think you mean to say flamboyant, but even then flamboyant people are real. If you want realistic, then you have to accept that people you might consider to be weirdos are here to stay.

Who said anything about trans? you did, I know that much, MALE bodies can wear makeup without being fraking transgenders for crying out loud. And EVE is science fiction, imagination is what drives the universe. You're imagination is severely limited if you ask me. It's fine that YOU like big masculine men with beards (personal preference aye? each to their own, I like my men in other ways, hehe), but I just want my guy to be a sexy pilot who loves wearing eyeliner and black lipstick.
