Hello.
I am not native English speaker, so be charitable please.
Guys i am interested if there is a PvP activity like the battlegrounds in the World of Warcraft.
What do I mean when say like the battlegrounds.
I imagine this process such as:
1. Start conversation with a faction agent where I want to be a mercenary.
2. Join a queue for the battle.
3. Depend on my skill points game look for a appropriate team.
4. When the team ready, activate my clone and teleport into a specific location.
5. The specific location means the location that isolated from the other space.
6. Get a ship that ready for me by the game, depend on my role, skill points or other characteristics.
7. PEW PEW.
8. Win, lose or timer is out and your clone is activated and you are teleported back to previous location where you are before battle was started.
9. Get standing, money etc. depend on a result.

There is no queuable anything in Eve. Anything that you want to do in Eve with other players has to be organized by other players.

The closest that I can think of being instantly transported to the battle is sitting on a Titan or Black Ops BS waiting to hot drop by cynoing into a battle. In that case you can be instantly transported to the action but it involves fleet mates setting all of that up for you.

Now onto my rant:

From my perspective queueable content is what ruined wow and moved it away from an MMO and more like a single player RPG that just happens to have other players in it. Eve forces you to build relationships and create content with other humans. To me that is what an MMO is. I sincerely hope that nothing queueable ever comes to this game.

Its a process of buying your own stuff and transporting it to the hotzone so you can operate/regroup with others from a nearer position; against operating from the nearest tradehub where the supplies are aplenty but jumping for 10~30 jumps just to get into the hotzone.

Its painstakingly detailed yeah, but it opens up opportunities for players who manufacture stuff, for public haulers to finish contracts, for market moguls to 0.01isk their sales.. etc. Your pvping, consuming material stuff in eve, makes the game go round and round.

Other gamers get to influence your gameplay that would be a feature like auto-repair/resupply in world of tanks/warships. Players can even elect to disrupt this supply by killing off haulers, market manipulations, etc.

Well anyway to your scenario, the nearest I could think of is to join an active nullsec/lowsec alliance where they have scheduled 'raids' and a ship replacement program. There's still the jumping around from system to system, but most of the effort is gonna be into you showing up, heh. And these groups love players who participate in their fleets(aka, party or group system).

Be sure to use their communication services for an added source of 'entertainment'.

That's not the kind of game EVE is. EVE is meant to be more emergent. The most the devs do to facilitate PVP is to put out bait in the form of FW. It's still up to the players to acquire gear and find targets. Some PVP groups will provide ships, but that's between you and whatever group you join. The difficulty of starting a PVP engagement also makes the PVP more meaningful. You did the work to acquire the materials, you did the work to find the target, whatever was destroyed is gone forever. All that investment is comparable to the ante in a card game, part of the cost to play. Your skill matters not just for the sake of the skill but it matters to protect your investment.

I heard about Faction War but I still have vague understanding how it works.
In WOW each noob can practice in PvP right from the start of game playing.
And mostly this aspect keep ppl continue to play.
If noob like me can join FW on T1 frig? is it enjoyable?

Learn game mechanics before suggesting new ones...
And this isn't even new, all except being in a safe space instance and getting standing is already in the game. Actually- you get real life standing with your alliance/ pvp group/ whatever so it's also covered.

A game that had a lot of WoW refugees (including devs) was Diablo. I played a lot of it and everybody In my group said they hate how wow-ish it is. It felt to them like they still played wow. Let some games stay moody (in case of eve that would be the community, not graphics) and hard, and some rainbow colored and casual with "honorable, same-skill level cap arena pvp". Those two don't mix well.

T1 frigs can be very deadly in the right hands, I suggest joining a corp and learning some tricks with them. Many pilots do go to fw lowsec in t1 frigs to do solo and small gang pvp. If you are also in a t1 frig it should be reasonably easy to find fights. of course some will outclass you or some will bring friends, this is eve don't expect a fair fight. t1 frigs are pretty cheap so imo it is worth it to take chances in them.

also I suggest you check out the eve is easy youtube, it shows a bunch of pvp with low sp accounts. https://www.youtube.com/user/eveiseasy/videos

Eve is easy is run by Suitonia who also streams and does crazy things with kestrals https://www.twitch.tv/suitonia

It depends if you can find loss acceptable. In WoW you lose nothing when you die, EvE isn't like that.

Forget about other MMOs. EvE is a war, economy and society simulation, a persistent universe driven and shaped by players, a sandbox with free-for-all PvP everywhere. There is no matchmaking or arenas, just tools to make it easier to initiate PvP or find targets.

If you want quick PvP your best choices are joining an active PvP focused corporation in your timezone or 'x'-up for one of the regular public fleets organized by Spectre Fleet or other NPSI groups.

I'm my own NPC alt.

Fights are not arranged.

Choosing when and where to fight is a big part of winning fights. And the best result in a fight you cannot win is to not engage at all, or to successfully escape.

The closest thing to what you are looking for would be a group like Spectre Fleet, who form up a fleet together in safe space, then fly off picking fights until they are all dead.

There is one way to get quick and easy PVP. The test server. There is no (time or isk) investment to begin except to download the client. Likewise, no investment, no reward. Nothing that happens on the test server remains permanent. It is sort of instanced in that it doesn't affect the main server. I believe it uses (or at least used to) a sort of matchmaking by having ship size restricted arenas, though it's been so long I'm not sure that's still enforced. So yeah, it's available, more or less what you're asking for, but hardly anyone uses it. The only reason it hasn't been shut down years ago is because it gets used to test patches before they go live.

A quick google search of "eve faction warfare" yeilds a few results but the Eve Uni Wiki is always a decent place to start when looking into anything Eve related. Of course there are many youtube videos but I don't know how many of them if any will be in your native language.

I have not tried faction warfare but the basic concept is that they have PvE sites which, to my understanding, are mostly deadspace sites with ship restrictions on the acceleration gates as to ship types. This way it limits which ships can enter the site but not how many ships nor who is flying them.

You get Loyalty Points for completeing sites and can trade those in for faction stuff that you can then sell on the market for isk. This is a way that you can earn isk while PvPing.

New characters can participate in PvP in a meaningful way from day 1. New players will need to learn a lot about the game to even understand what is going on. Eve is not an instant gratification themepark style MMO. Eve is about relationship building and collectivizing efforts. The fast and easy way to learn and participate in PvP in this game is to fleet up with veterans that can teach you as you play and have fun. There are new player friendly corporations out there that do this routinely.

You can do solo PvP from day 1 as well and if you watch some of the Suitonia videos on the channel that Chainsaw Plankton linked, you will see an experienced vet doing very well at solo PvP on alts that are only days old. However he is an experienced player. If you want to learn PvP solo be prepared to loose a lot of ships before you start winning some fights. This is mostly why other posters have suggested joining up with a corp that will provide you with fleets and free ( or replacement ) ships.

Like I said already Eve is not an instant gratification game and that is by design. The game is intended to require more of an emotional and social investment than other games. So if you are looking for quick and easy PvP with no up front investment, Eve was intentionally designed to not be that way. It's not an oversight, it is an intentional design.

You can join. "enjoyable" is a very subjective word. My best advice is to make friends in this game with people that speak a language in which you are relatively fluent. I'm not sure how good or bad your English is nor am I aware what your native language is but you need to hook up with people that you can communicate with and understand in real time.

I've done the copy and paste to translate thing to communicate with players that speak a different language than me and it can be very helpful for taunting, shitposting, and gloating in local. However if you want to learn and have fun you will need to be able to get into voice comms and be able to understand orders given in the heat of battle.

It's allowed in Newbie Q&A; we often have to explain to newbies how this game is different, and in general the moderators for this forum don't allow the kind of derision and flaming that you see in General Discussion.

As far as queues for battlegrounds, as explained above, this game does NOT have:

- queues
- instanced areas that only you can enter
- teleportation of equipment
- bind-to-character gear (everything is manufactured by some player, and explodes on death).

So, if you want to be able to jump in a ship and see some action, YOU have to set up a whole bunch of ships ready to go at a station that's near the war zone, and then feel free to clone-jump to that station for some fun using and losing those ships.

Faction Warfare is more like a WoW PVP server, except you join it. You join a FW militia (combat corp), and from that moment you're red and at war with the opposite militia, anywhere and everywhere. There are certain solar systems on the borders between the two empires that are at war, where you can capture the flag and other PVP objectives like that, where you'll find a higher concentration of enemy players to PVP against. When you've had enough, you leave / retire from the militia and are no longer red to other players.

You still have to prepare all the war materiel that you'll need, including ships, gear, ammo, etc. Doing logistics while under enemy fire is somewhat difficult, but various players who focus on industry and trade try to keep the staging areas supplied with the common ships and weapons and ammo, and otherwise you can either leave when you need peace and join when you want war, or use a neutral alt who can fly transport ships to bring the stuff you need, and private contracts to transfer it over to your main.
