I was having the idea of a frigate being capable of bridging only frigates as well as it being a black ops covert ops (i.e. it can use cloaks like a covert ops II but cannot use the covert ops II, thus cannot warp cloaked).

Why on earth is this a good idea?

Bomber fleets certainly don't need the buff, and there's very little else that can fit a covert cloak at the Frigate hull size that's worth bridging.

How about a skin for blops so they look like a frig?

Would that be an acceptable compromise?

Oh god... Could you imagine?

Lots of times BLOP battleships will not jump in and simply bridge bombers, because the cost of getting baited is in the billions for each battleship lost.

Now? Meh, jump in 30-40 T2 Logi frigates and lol your way home. Not to mention ewar frigates, since recons are now irrelevant (why pay for the jump fuel for cruisers when frigates will do?)

I guess on the plus side, you could totally make them into surprise buttsecks fleets for sustained engagements, instead of just hot dropping on ratters.

Regardless, they'd very rapidly become the new meta.
