Its server population matey.

Been around since 2003 on & off & people freaked when someone entered highsec systems back then Lol

Population (real, not trial/alpha) peaked around the time wormholes came in (2009-2010, cba looking at Chribba's site) and has been on a slow decline since.

Go take a look in the Hed constellation if you doubt me. The time top belt Amamake was the place for an insta-fight/gank is a long, LONG time ago Blink

A guy probed down a site I was doing in a hyperion and shot my tractor unit. I shot back simply because (even though I had the valuables) and nobody got the loot.

It's always a racial counter ship and of course there wasn't enough help nearby.

Oh, I perfectly understand, Hal Morsh — a mission like this requires courage, skill, and heroism… qualities you are clearly lacking. Have you forgotten you're one of the bloody immortals!?

No but you can probe the dope sitting on it when it appears on dscan if you're quick enough.

You can probe deployables as MTU's and mobile depots.
If you happen to leave drones in a site, someone will scan them too. So when in low sec try to pick up your drones before warping out when someone is combatt scanning you in an escalation for example.

That's not how you catch site runners. But no more advice, Ralph has already a hard time hunting Roll

No, but its the mere fact that its there especially an "enormous freight container" floating in space others obsession will drive them to find out what or who has deployed that.

Simple truth is most humans are the same, with a few nudges you can get people to do the predictable thing, humans come in 3 typical sets;

Those that won't be fooled and will not follow the predictable path (rarest of the breed).

Those that learn over time and are still able to be manipulated (common).

And finally the most common type, those that let emo rule, those that know what they've done 100 times before (in terms of trouble), and still fall for the trap time and again and will be the entertainment for others (most common).

I fall into the middle category myself (for those thinking I'm being elitist), it takes a great deal of effort on my part to learn, in terms of PVP I have never learned but have started down the path with the addition of alphas allows me to make all the mistakes on the road of learning, right now I'm learning to bait.

Watching animals, particular small animals that are prey for everything, gives you a good insight into unpredictability in the animal kingdom. Humans, in this area, have a lot to learn.

The funniest part of manipulation isnt being manipulated, its the human arrogance and pride to think that ones actions ARE manipulating others when generally what we want, or think we want, often coincides with the targets planned actions anyway. In the final end much of what we assume others know, think or do is in our heads. http://journals.sagepub.com/doi/abs/10.1177/2167702616689780?journalCode=cpxa& Emotions like intentions are often misread.Blink

Have you heard anything I've said?

You said it's all circling the drain, the whole universe. Right?

That's right.

Had to end sometime.
