Structure parity between pc and npc structures

When can we get vulnerability timers for NPC structures and do away with 100% invulnerability in Eve? I do recall that stations were not always Invulnerable until they were taken out. Wouldn't that make life so much more interesting in high sec?

So there would be a plot point (Sansha's Nation or Drifter Ships) blaping the supply of Magic fuel that the empire keeps from the PC's. There would be just enough fuel in reserve for Rookie Station Systems.

Add another plot point and uncloak the empire Cyno Jammers and Capital jump barriers. Now you have a Pc driven plot to decide the fate of high security space. Make popcorn and put plex on sale.

It's not safe out here. It's wondrous, with treasures to satiate desires both subtle and gross. But it's not for the timid.

No. The capsuleers might be powerful but we're not as powerful either economically or militarily as the empires, especially if all 4 combine ala Sansha's Nation.

I can see CCP reducing the services offered by NPC stations or making them more expensive to discourage people from using them but I don't see any advantage to destructible stations - unless CONCORD defends them - after all you can't declare war on NPCs.

There are lots of things for players to shoot at in New Eden - the core infrastructure will likely stay invulnerable.
