I started a new alpha account (my first alt) and though I was told I can't play on an Omega and an Alpha at the same time, the EVE Launcher Client allows me to load both instances.

If the launcher itself allows me to launch both characters, does that mean it's okay to do it?

If the laucher allows you to launch an Alpha and an Omega at the same time, it means CCP ****** something up and it'll soon be fixed.

you load the character screens on the same system of both omega and alpha.........however you can only get one of them to fully log into game, the other will tell you its against the rulz.

No I was flying ships on both accounts. Did the entire tutorial before someone in my corp told me I was breaking a rule.

Afaik there is a known but that will let you create and log in as a new alpha character even if you have an omega account open, but you will not be able to do it again after that.

something to do with the character creation process bypassing the usual login checks or something.
since its something you can only ever do once your unlikely to get in any major trouble for it. but I still wouldn't risk it personally. especially now that you know and can no longer plead ignorance.
