Hello,

The tittle gives it all away!

I'm one of those people who has always tried to play Eve and never quite managed mustering the patience. After reading a bit more this time around I understand a corp is the place to be.

I'm in a EU timezone and looking to kill some time after work. I don't have the time to spend half a day playing but sometimes I do tend to get OCD about things so I can provide a fair level of attendance. I'm looking for a friendly community with some level of patience as I currently spend half my game time reading the 'Show info' pop-up on everything.

Don't be fooled, this character is slightly old but I'm as big a noob as they come. That being said though I catch on to things pretty quickly, I'll just need some help to get my feet on the ground ( or in space ).

Basically I'm looking for a good group of people and enjoy my time online.

Thanks for reading!

Hey,

it's not always easy to get into eve and find a purpose. Good luck this time, hope you find some people who make you stay and enjoy the game. Wherever this might be.

We are just forming, but looking for EU-players who want to find "their eve". Family- and job- friendly. Nothing mandatory but trying to foster synergies between individuals so they are more effective in a team than alone.

Hey new guy, Im Zee.

I understand your situation. EvE is a hard woman to love, and you are absolutely right that joining a corp is what really makes this game shine. A good corp is the difference between playing for a week and playing for 5 years. Now that youve come to that realization, you just need to make sure you find a good fit. The only thing worse than being alone is being in a corp that really isnt right for you, so make sure you do your research and take your time with the decision.

That being said, Ill talk about my corp, Quantum Star Conglomerate, a bit, and maybe we will be the group you fit in with, I certainly hope so (since its my job), but like I said make sure you think hard about it.

So QSC is an EU/US based corp, slightly skewed towards EU at the moment, and is the executor (head corporation) of a small alliance. We are currently living in the nullsec region of Providence, known for being NRDS (Not red dont shoot). Our ultimate goal is to make a home for ourselves in deeper nullsec, where it is NBSI (Not blue? SHOOT IT!). We want to make this home using our own strength and resolve, rather than relying on null blocs (Super large coalitions of nullsec groups) or renters (People who rent out their space for a fee). We want to take space, plant our flag, then viciously kill anyone who tries to take it down.

This mindset of self reliance also extends to our industry program. We build everything, from ammo and drones, to capital ships and citadels (stations), using materials gathered from our members. What this would mean for you is that when you were doing your casual mining (assuming you like to mine) of valuable, but very heavy, nullsec ores, or Planetary interaction, or ice, or even salvage if you were to hunt NPC pirates, you could then sell that to us instead of carting it all the way to hisec all by your lonesome. We would then turn around and use that to build all the things you and your friends would fly in pvp. You could literally watch a carrier fly out of the dock and know that you helped build it, or park your ship in a citadel that you helped put up, or get shot by a missile in one of our casual, fun frigate tournaments and think "I shouldnt have made that missile for that *******".

If you didnt like mining or industry, then thats fine. We dont require it. It would just mean that it would be a lot easier for you to get the things you need, even in the deepest, darkest parts of nullsec, since we can probably build it for you right at home. We do regular PvP and PvE ops, so we can break all that fancy stuff we build. And your skillpoints and experience don't matter to us. As you may have noticed from this post, I like explaining things. It makes me feel smart. So feel free to use me as your personal, universal show info tab. Might be easier on your wrist than the constant clicking. We also have a number of experienced people that can help you out as well, and an out of game communication app so even if we're offline, you can send a message ("Ahhh Zee! wtf is a meta module!?) and we can respond to you even if we are at work or school or on a date (but not the movies, because that's rude). And you can also chat with the whole team whenever you're bored.

I will post my corp ad below, if i have piqued your interest at all I encourage you to take a look at it for more details about us and to make sure we are a good fit. If you have any questions feel free to contact me here or in the game, or join our public channel listed in our corp info in game. I hope to hear from you soon, and I hope to fly with you soon after!

Best wishes regardless, and good luck on your corp hunt! Also, sorry for the text wall!

Always willing to help out new-bro's. Corp selection is VITAL to keeping you logging in. Finding that right mix of personalities, activity, and game-play style though, MUCH harder to find!

We def have plenty of EUTZ presence and there's always SOMETHING going on, the catch with us is that its most likely something piraty!

If you're the teensiest bit interested, here are our links:

Here's our corp advert: Outdated Host Productions

Our alliance advert is here: Darwinism

Hope to see you in-game, cheers!
