I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this for me. Tried searching but no luck.

Do you need Standup Capital shipyard service module installed to build freighters / JFs / Orca ?

I know they don't require capital ship skill to fly them but in order to build them you need capital ship construction.

If its not needed do the capital ship manufacturing efficiency rigs apply to making these or are they considered large then?

No you should be able to build them in HS in a raitaru, the only thing that will effect you is the rigging.
