Transferring ownership of an engineering complex

We have a corp member who had his own corp with just himself and his 2 alts in it. He has made the decision to move his main character along with his EC to our corp. How exactly is this done? I can't find anything on the topic of transferring ownership of EC's anywhere.

He has moved his main over and one of his alts leaving his lowest alt as CEO of his corp. It took 24 hours to move his main due to roles or something but we are still struggling to find the process of transferring ownership of the EC from his corp to ours.

Right click - Edit profile for this structure and the option to transfer is in there.

If the owner is in system he can right click the EC and select transfer assuming neither corp is at war.
