Login issues at downtime causing account log in list to be wiped.

Is this one of these issues that will cause endless frustrations for players whilst never getting fixed? It seems that way.

You try to login after a patch, the login server doesn't work properly, and your saved accounts start disappearing from the EVE launcher.

I've brought this up first months ago, nothing has changed.

Never going to be fixed?

I managed to log in one of my accounts, but the second one failed (launcher failed to connect to server).

I opened a new instance of the launcher and that failed too. Expecting an unscheduled downtime.....

Restart the launcher and leave it for a few mins, it'll let you in. You just need to be nice and sing it songs of love and affection

Off on another spirit quest after getting rolled off the chain!

That sounds like good advice. I also solve technical problems in this manner.

Yes, that's what I do. But when you get back in you find half or more of your saved accounts on the EVE launcher have been wiped and forgotten, forcing you to go through re-adding them - Very annoying especially if you liked a certain order.

My launcher does that occasionally and it's annoying I agree! Although it's usually solved with a launcher restart, not sure if it's a connection related issue or what

You can drag and drop them to any order.

Though while we are at it... any way to rename those? It would be easier to group 'em..

We almost never had an issue when launching the .exe file in the past, this launcher program has caused nothing else but trouble when patches are there. Please, ether make it work better or stop this launcher stuff Ugh

i got problems with login , launcher error

Yes, this logging in through the launcher on patch day trouble has become very regular. People can't login because of this.

Please either fix the launcher or let people bypass the launcher and log in the old way.

And please stop accounts from being wiped from the launcher when the login server is having trouble. This happens every patch.

I have tried logging in several times and when I am not getting the red box saying "login problem, there was a problem logging into your account, please try again", I am getting the "Could not connect to login server" with some more stuff about how it will periodically try to establish a connection.

Now that's 2 complete login screw-ups within a week of each other?

So now i can open client but then i get this:

The account got 3 chars in it and i can't click any of them to login...

Some feedback on this pls CCP?, i cannot login at all, occasionally get through on one acct, but only see the screen with 1 portrait, its dead and does not respond ....

Ok i verified shared cache, then the client downloaded 24mb and now i can login.. Shocked

I see 14.4k players online, only 1 of my accounts outta 5 in launcher, still only half connects ...

Still broken, cmon now ... help

Have tried the launcher diags, seem to be a helluva lotta timeouts along the route, but I am not too net savvy in that way, still same here, now i get empty non responsive screens, for all accounts

some ccp comment would probably save my hairstyle :P

Re-verifying cache now ... again
