Simplistic lighting, somewhat harsh, good clothes and choice of expression. The eyes (not smiling), and the smile (also, not smiling) say...

"No worries, and don't look so stricken, You will be eaten next..."

That odd gleeful expression would look well placed on Hannibal Lector.

8.5/10 The only advice I could even offer here would be tweek the background some to break up the colors a little.

The overall appearance of the avatar is good. I especially like the sensitive colour harmony. Grey can be a tough colour to work with but here I feel the creator has produced an avatar employing it to its full potential. You have harmonised all elements fairly well. The overall value mass balance looks good also.

I am a little concerned with the posture of the subject. The expression suggests contentment whilst the shoulders imply that he is somewhat bored or disheartened. This, of course, may be deliberate but whatever the creator's motives were I feel he has failed to project them successfully. A slight adjustment may be in order.

I hope this critique has been useful to you and I would like to thank you for allowing us to view it.

Rating wise I feel this could easily achieve 7/10 at auction.
