I'm looking to get into exploration of Data/Relic sites but I can't find much info on them in the forums. A search of "exploration" only returns articles mentioning it in relation to industry.

Where can I find more information on Exploration? Specifically

Best Regions to look for Data/Relic sites
Site information
Best revenue

Hisec has a variety of data and relic sites that you can explore to start getting a feel for how to run them. Losec, you'll want to start being careful because people can travel around killing explorers for revenue, and finally, nullsec, be very cautious about exploring in Sov areas that arent friendly. Out there, you DO have people killing explorers. That being said, the lower the sec status of a system, the higher the site's average value.

Sites themselves? All I can say, mainly because it's all I care about, is that relic sites are where you're going to get your best money, and expose yourself to the most risk. Data sites tend to be the worst money for time, but can provide blueprints as well (sometimes just as worthless though).

For more information, you can try eve-uni's wiki, as that also has a lot of information.










Finally, STAY AWAY FROM "improved covert [pirate faction] research facilities" without doing research into them first. You will probably die, and die horribly. Research them first.

Look in the mission forums above ... there should be plenty of posts and threads about even if they are a bit older. Everything not older than two years is still relevant. I used to be an explorer for ISK before I became addicted to manufacturing and trade Blink, so you can find a lot of relic site related posts in my history.
