Yep, getting that here too. Launcher gets stuck on a brown screen saying 'Checking GUI'.

Had the same problem for some days now.

Solution: Click on the "E" on the upper right, choose "settings" and uncheck "use system config for proxy", close launcher and open again.

Same for me launcher stuck at checking GUI version

Solution for me was setting up google public DNS on my router 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Pretty sure it have something to do with Roskomnadzor for Russian players who have the same problem


update Nope google DNS didn't help
