Bumped before you can jump gates... exploit? or working as intended..

It seems that warping to a HS gate when you're in LS... is no longer as safe as it once was. Is this by design?

A player posted the following on reddit:

"This works, i've tested it. All you need is to park a paladin at the exiting warp spot cloaked. Then when a capital ship warps to the gate, you decloak, and go into bastion mode. When the capital ship decelerates to the gate. BEFORE it even exits the warp completely, it will get bumped hard off the gate. The capital ship can't do anything, since you aren't allowed to do any actions while "in warp". So you can't prevent the bumping. This works against any ships, including supers/titans warping to a gate."

Would be nice for an official reply on this one. I'm with the guy you quoted, and he's got it pretty much down to where he can do it every time. If it's not an exploit we have a bunch of JF's to go murder. The issue has been posted everywhere, so would assume CCP knows about it and is okay with it. But assuming ends up getting you banned a few months down they road when they decide to take action vov

The guy doing it seems to be using the Omen Navy Issue to do the actual bumps. It seems a certain percentage of the bumps are successful. It still seems pretty broken (especially if this gets more popular).

Source: A JF pilot I know who tried going through the gate reported this.

I enjoy stories of tear extraction as much as the next guy... but damn, this needs fixed.
