So i am still wondering what is game time? what is the effect of game time in the game? I saw omega symbol in the tech tree saying that you need to subscribe by buying game time, but if i bought the game time, can i learn different type of ships? for example currently i can only drive frigates but with game time can i learn to drive a destroyer in no time? Thanks!Big smile

You can train up to cruisers and one battle-cruiser as alpha, in your own race.

If you want to go beyond that? yeah, time for omega

But unless you use skill injectors no skill comes instantly. All training takes time, omega or alpha (though omega train 2x the speed)

Game time in that context = subscription time. Your account will be upgraded to Omega status which will remove all restrictions on what you can train and do in the game. Omegas earn skillpoints twice as fast as Alphas so you will be able to train skills faster.

The Alpha skillset is really all you need during your first few months in the game - you can get a feel for most career paths and participate in the social aspects by joining a player corporation. By the time the Alpha skillset becomes restrictive, you'll know if Eve is a game you want to play. At that point, the subscription fee should be trivial.
