Waited for the prolonged downtime post patch,post aurum post happiness and logged back into my account this morning. Noted the new inclusion in the inventory tab of my neo-com. Saw the new PLEX box. Opened the link, went to the new and "so much improved" online store to look at how the new PLEX pricing broke down. Looked at the new PLEX pricing...and stopped.

And I looked, and I looked again. Then I went back and looked at the general DEV blog postings, the patch release notes, the general community blogs..didn't see anything that seemed to jibe with what I was reading. No announcement of monthly pricing changing concurrent with the patch release and PLEX rework, nothing from the original EVE live announcement, no DEv posts reflecting the price increaseor justifying a price increase. So I went back, searched again, and again....and again...

So essentially the 30 day PLEX rate (14.99) which Is what I have been paying well, for a very long time, which is what I paid 4 days ago , at least according to my Paypal records...has vanished....and essentially CCP has rather covertly and -nonchalantly changed that to the new and improved charge of 500 "New" plex for buying game time for omega accounts...which curiously is now worth $19.99/30 days.

So essentially, CCP has slid through a 33% increase in subscription pricing, without fanfare, without justification and without so much as a yawn from the general public.

Next time CCP I want flowers, or at least a note by the bed!!!
