I support the change (it should never have been possible to pay for character transfers using PLEX) but damn, people should have been given enough notice to reorganise their affairs before it happens.

This feature is due to what?

You removed a significant feature that i use a lot in my game play!

Like it or not, CCP made a big mistake by not informing us via the propper channels and implement this gamechanging feature in a sneaky way!

Plz give us detailed information on how you intend to solve this issue!

Won't this also effect the number of players training extra characters on the same account? I know a guy that runs 6-8 "extra" training characters to sell on the bazaar and I am sure there are many more with even more slots like him. Each account is using 3 PLEX that is bought from somewhere, won't that hurt CCP as well.

It turns out that CCP managed just fine to code the PLEX for AT sign up. But they still can't do the same for character transfer.

Yeah...seems legit.

You should enable Paypal for character Transfers.... otherwise you cut yourself from CC-less customers.

What about the time invested to train a character for the sole purpose of selling?

It takes a minimum 3 months to train a character from scratch to get some little profit from it....
Do we get a reimbursment or something? Because this was not announced in time for us to take some action in this matter....

Some of us consider this a way of income....

20 dollars is less than the price of 2 plex. CCP looses money off of this change. So it's safe to assume they will be fixing it ASAP


This, frankly. Every character transfer done with :2plex: yields $14 USD more for CCP's wallets. They are literally making less money, not more, with this change.

I'd be willing to bet that they will work it out sooner, rather than later.

Yes the player base may drop at first but it will weed out anyone who plays this game for making a profit off of it and allow people who actually enjoy playing the game to keep playing.

CCP you have one heck of a great game Big smile with lots of different aspects to take part in at any given time. And yes there are few bugs here and there heck even the big AAA title games have problems but those guys just milk people for money on rehashed garbage while you guys work to improve a single game that has existed for this long. I will continue to pay my sub for my accounts with RL money WHY because this game offers so many options for just 1 person to be active in and I know that money will be used to help improve the game and its many adventures in space a person could have.

My daughter's cat has a better grasp of economics. Everything about this move by ԀƆƆ is wrong and offensive.
