Though I see your point, I respectfully disagree on the point that a green killboard is pointless. True, it doesn't mean everything... but a red killboard says everything. Lots of kills don't determine skill...but lots of losses do show lack of it. Blink

Not what I meant kaely, denying people the right to risk something for the sake of having the green killboard and denying yourself to have a little fun on the edge is different from the green killboard from skill.

Vmg is risk adverse hence why they sacrifice fun for the green killboard, khromius might as well hand out Punch cards to his members now at this rate.... Your 8 hour shift begins now.

Here's the killboard of several well known and high (At least somewhat) skill based players

These are a few of the many High to medium high Skilled players in EVE. All of them take at least one loss per active day. If you fill an alliance with those people that alliance would take quite a few loses a day. Which would show on the killboard tarnishing the perfect green that ever merc corp wants. Those 2bil vindicator loses would not go over well with any Merc group at any point. But just because you lose a lot of ships. Does not mean you are unskilled.

Take Pandemic horde for example. It has a ton of losses from it's player base. But they have obviously proven, that they have the ability to **** up any merc groups day when they feel up for it.

No I'm disagreeing with someone and disputing it with evidence.

A skilled merc group doesn't need to have perfect green in-order to do a job effectively.

Most merc groups who have a perfect KB use it for advertising because most people will associate that as a skilled. Which I figured I did not need to point out. Obviously Logitech blasters is a fine exsample of a corp that had a high ratio and failed miserably when it came down to brass tacks.

Regardless.

If high K/D Ratio's meant something, Holey and Balthazar would both be high skilled top tire PVP'er.

And they are not.
