Mac EVE and Mumble Overlay

Has anyone figured out how to get the Mumble Overlay (stable or devel) working with the EVE client on the Mac since the switchover to Wine?

I can get the overlay to show in the launcher window but not the game client window--regardless of fullscreen, windowed, or window fixed setting. Also, the DX9 setting has no effect, either.
