Recently - with the newest update -

crashes when jumping to a system
crashes when opening info window

it's crashed a couple times for me, most recently when undocking in Jita.

Happened twice to me in the span of an hour. Not the greatest place to lock-up...
Addendum: It now crashes at least half the time when undocking from Jita, so this isn't an isolated incident.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

past few days have been a nightmare.

usually run 2 clients. at least 1 goes into limbo.
fps drops to 1 or less. bounces to about 3 fps.
ms processing speed goes to 1700+ (normal is 16)

happens after undock (any system)
jumping gates (any system).
fps also drops while scrolling local (up 20 fps).

there must be some conflict between the eve client and os.
the computer refuses to accept any type of commands - in other words, eve is completely freezing the MacBook pro.

have: rebooted computer and cleared eve caches without any fix.

it is urgent this be fixed quickly - thanks.

Bumping for a much-needed update to this urgent issue. The level of crashing when undocking or warping to/from gates is bordering on permanently quitting because it's stupid having to go into hibernation for 3-6 months while these issues are addressed.

I am currently away, traveling through time and will be returning last week.

Happening to me constantly. Client completely freezes. Only option is computer reboot

My client is freezing lot of times since wine update. Very annoying.

Has anyone found a fix or had an update from CCP on this? I deleted cache with no change. This has made game unplayable

No solution :( I can't play too game is freezing randomly. ccp have to back update to old wine or fix this problem.

The issue seems to be at least in my case to be caused by old cache or settings files on hard drive.
I put through a ticket and was given advice to open c_tq_tranquility and delete the Cache folder.
You can delete the whole folder but that means you'll have to reload settings in game.


Edit: game crashed twice after this fix. Still unplayable

So now that it's been more or less confirmed by every single Mac user to have the game freeze the entire computer on a very regular basis. Are CCP doing anything about it?

Or is Mac users an minority not worthy of attention... I can understand that pot as well. but still, shame to get into a game
that is acknowledged as being supported by OS and then not paying attention to the obvious problems they have....


Very painful indeed.


Please CCP, don't punish your Mac user base just because we run Macs. Let us enjoy your game too.

My freezes is solved. Open the Eve Launcher, select the preferences in the apple menu, and select the wine version 1.9 not the latest. My game is stable now again.
