Security Mission Problems

I have been doing this one level 1 security mission for the amarr, titled "Onslaught" and spent the last few hours destroying a single building with a maller with decent weaponry only to realize that I wasn't supposed to destroy it. There was a similar situation with one gallente mission in which I HAD to destroy the building so I thought I had to it again with "Onslaught".

I don't know why it let me destroy a mission objective but spending multiple hours just to realize I can't complete it really angered me. I just hope that the devs will look into the matter. Sad

if a lv1 mission takes several hours there is probably something wrong. Read the description a bit more carefully next time, and when in doubt check out eve survival http://eve-survival.org/wikka.php?wakka=Onslaught1

if you press f12 and select mission in progress a gm should reset it for you. otherwise it should reset on its own at downtime

Just wanted to add that the mission will automatically reset at downtime if you haven't completed the mission objective while the 7 day mission expiration timer is still active.

You can verify if the mission is completed by clicking the Journal (book icon) located in the NeoCom bar left side of the screen, select the 'Agents' tab, right click the mission name and select' View Mission Details'. If the mission is completed, there will be a green check mark next to the mission objectives.
