Hi folks. Few things I still haven't figured out and hope the experts could help.

1 - Five drones is the maximum you can control?
2 - Lock target for me takes about 6 seconds. I already maxed the skill that reduces it's time, how can I lock faster?
3 - Where can I find market data that is not bound for the major trade hubs? Sometimes by accident I stumble on better deals travelling with market oppened on my screen.
4 - What a person gain by killing MTUs, wrecks, or ganking in high sec?
5 - How often or how is it triggered expeditions coming for finishing anomalies?

Thanks for reading.

Some answers:

1. yep
2. lock time depends also on the ship you are flying, non-combat ships tend to have long lock times. Helping modules: sensor booster
3. hmm, the default should show you all orders in the whole region. the markets are regional, cross the border and you see a a different picture
4. killing an MTU makes you "suspect", so everybody can attack you. That's what the attacker wants, to bait you into a fight you will lose. Sometimes MTUs contain valuable loot, which is another but minor reason. Gankers want your loot and/or your tears, hence don't carry to much value and nothing you can't afford to lose
5. random

Remember, EvE is a PvP game with a balance of creation and destruction. Safety and success in EvE does not come from mechanics themselves and rules but from knowledge about the mechanics and how to use them to your advantage.

1. Yeah except for a few special edition ships.

2. Sensor Boosters / with scripts.

3. The market info you see is Regional, and will change when you enter a new region.

4. They get a Kill Report to show off / pad their killboard with. They might get a fight out of it, maybe spring a trap or something. They might gain shiny loot from inside the MTU or Gank Target. They might get amusing hate mail from the owner.. To name but a few of the many valid reasons to shoot someone's stuff.

5. Wut? Don;t get the question..

1. yep

2. lock speed is based on your scan resolution and the targets signature radius. Higher scan res for faster locks so sensor boosters and signal amplifiers are good, cloaks and warp core stabs are bad. and then bigger sig radus means faster locks smaller sig radius means slower locks, you can't change your target before you lock it so if you are going to fight a lot of small ships a sensor upgrade may be a good idea.

3. https://eve-central.com/ is good for prices, however it doesn't seem to show sell orders in citadels, there is also some delay so you might want to be careful on very big orders.

4. attacking a MTU is mostly to bait someone into shooting them, imo it is best to not leave stuff floating in space. attacking a wreck is usually a bad idea as if it isn't your wreck you get concorded, if it is your wreck typically people will only shoot it to either cover their tracks, or to prevent a ninja salvager from looting/salvaging it. Ganking is usually for profit if your ship has 1b in mods fit statistically 500m will drop, so if it costs me 300m to gank you it is a rather profitable activity for me. That said Code has a long running campaign on highsec miners so that is typically for lulz rather than profit. ganking mining barges is a rather cheap activity.

5. don't run enough anoms to know.

Thanks for the quick reply. I think was a little confusion about the market thing. I was told to use https://eve-marketdata.com/ to find best deals and I also knew eve central by searching on google, but those seems to show only prices on systems around the major trade hubs.

Just a remark, eve-central is kind of legacy. The best tool for price checks nowadays is https://market.fuzzwork.co.uk

All have been answered.

bout anoms. I have lost access to my google doc (or deleted it by accident) that kept track of my escalation/ isk ratio. From what I remember It's 5-10% Sometimes you run 20 and no escalation, sometimes you run 3 sites and get 2.
No clue if the type of site and system security have influence, didn't test that.
