Chat box resized inside chat window

I was attempting to resize my chat window from the bottom side (touching the screen edge) and for some reason the chat box and contact list vanished.
After resizing the window the box and list appeared in a shrunken form.

pulling the effected window from the group chat boxes fixed the issue though, all other windows were not effected and switching tabs didn't fix it.
