Agent Mission info panel doesn't show up in space, only when docked...

I have only been playing for a few days now,. When doing the career agents missions my Info panel does not show the agent missions when I'm in space. However when I dock it will show them. Is there a way to get them to show up all the time, or is this normal? Just getting tired of having to dock every time I want to read the description.

Click the hat symbol top left.

All those symbols top left of the screen toggle something when clicked. The symbols are also repeated underneath the solor system info and they to can be clicked.

Play around with them and find out what they all do.

The bar on the left with all the buttons is customizable, with a button similar to the Windows Start-> button at the very top. If you right-click the bar and "unlock", you can drag and drop any app (including the Missions Journal app) to the bar.

Also, as indicated above, the info that appears in the upper left corner of the screen is also customizable. There are several info panels (transparent, no borders), and they're activated by clicking the tiny single letter or symbol icons at the top top left of the screen. You can turn on (or off) the system and position info, the autopilot route, the missions brief, tutorial panel, etc.

You can also open up your Journal (click book icon located in NeoCom bar on left side of screen), select 'Agents' tab, right click on the mission listed and select 'View Details'.
