Intergalactic Summit

Proposed time/date: Saturday, 3rd June @ 1900 NEST

Location: The Elysion [Join "Elysion - Security" for access]

Theme: I would like to invite you all to indulge your spirit of creativity. Look hard at your hangars, pick your favourite of those ships which you fly. Think hard on the name and its meaning. Devise an outfit inspired by this. Then show up and renew old friendships or make new ones. Also acceptable would be an interpretation of what that ships embodies to you as its pilot.

I'd be willing to offer a prize for the most interesting interpretation but this would require both volunteers willing to judge and prizes to be offered. These should be something not purchasable by isk, we're all moderately successful space people, the only things we're truly likely to value are those we can't simply wave money at.

I'm open to suggestions, please contact me.

Outfits should avoid flirting too strongly with breaching common decency, I'd like as many as possible to feel comfortable in attending.

Lest you grow concerned, rest assured...there will be chocolate.

Thinking about it, the Amarr frigate line has considerable capacity for terrifying outfits.

This is a beautifully thoughtful idea! If it doesn't clash with a fleet operation, I will do my best to be there.

So many options... I do love my Guardian-class ship, but perhaps something a little more understated might be better suited for a social gathering. This has set my mind whirring with ideas, thank you!

I may have to pick a new favourite. Representing anathema in dress form is a complex idea.

Last time I saw this person, she was behaving offensive, unreasonable and dishonorable. I'd call her anything but friendly, when she appeared last time. I haven't seen her since, but I would take extreme caution approaching Halcyon Ember.

Because insulting someone publicly while they are opening up an event isn't 'offensive' or 'unreasonable'?

I take the risk, as my few interactions with Ms Ember have been nothing but positive and favourable.

I have my reasons and her quotes, that I can send you in a private message if you are interested. Insulting it can be, but it is also truth and a reason of my distrust.



If you both believe she has changed, I will gladly give her a chance, if she will come speak in public or a private. My estimation was based on her speeches from quite some time ago and they might be obsolete for now. Up to her, of course.Until then I'll though keep to my point of view from that time.
