So some background on me, I've played other MMOS for years and years but just recently got into EVE.

I did tons of research before I began and admittedly drop a fair chunk of money into skilling up this guy for things a buddy of mine suggested.

I need a corp that can teach a new and upcoming player that is going to be instantly capital ship and logistic cruiser capable the ropes of both.

I've also read that it is important to skill up combat skills and those will come next but admittedly the carriers looked attractive to me so I found a skill plan on Eve university to follow and used it for a thanatos I believe it is ^^

I also realize that reading through the forums there are what people call doctrines that require training and I am certain with the skill set I got laid out from eve university that I will be able to quickly skill into decent combat ships as well to help on the front lines but I will mainly be focusing on being a logistics pilot till I learn more about PVP.

Also my first round of trying the game was a bit unsuccessful, due to an unusual circumstance at work but that issue has been remedied.

You have actually picked a tough way to start playing the game. Most players have a lot of experience and a few years in before they get into capital ships. This puts you at a big disadvantage when it comes time to use them as your experience level will not match what you are flying - it is sort of like putting a new driver into a race car. Wrecks are a common outcome.

That being said, if you are good at listening and taking directions from the more experienced players (and especially the FC) it is not impossible to do what you are trying to do. You will lose ships and have to learn how to make the isk to pay for new ones.

Take a look at our main addvert here:

And then come visit us in game on our public channel where you can ask questions (as we will you) and we can get to know each other.

A little background to let you know what Fusion is: We are an 11 year old corp of well over 500 members which is extremely active by EVE standards (we go over 100 on line on a regular basis). We live in a fully indexed -0.9 null sec system which has the best ratting and mining anoms for making isk. We also have some of the best infrastructure in game to help you make isk via manufacturing should that be of interest. And there are plenty of other opportunities for making isk as well. Being a large null sec corp also makes us an attractive target so we get visited by neuts quite frequently. So pvp is a way of life here because we fight back. Everything from small home defense fleets, to large ones, to roams, to alliance/coalition fights with a few hundred ships. In other words you can get it all here. However it will not be easy to learn and you will have to be patient. But you will never be alone and there will always be people to help you and look out for you.

Give it some thought and come have a chat.

This is a very interesting approach, going straight for your dream ships, bypassing many steps others take for granted.

Be careful that this way EVE can get expensive to your real wallet. Also you will need a thick skin to shrug off the wallet warrior stigma.

Based on what you wrote you like the idea of space heal, and big ships. Have a look at the Exequror, Oneiros, and the capital Ninazu. Exequror and Oneiros are widely used logi ships, very effective, and this role is always wanted.

Anyways good luck for you, hope you find your fun this time!
